Basically to create an Ice Robe that can do something cool you need to put some real effort in(and get good rolls) almost nothing actually increases your level or anything unless it has been enchanted numerous times, or you are skilled in enchantment.

Umbra sets up some spare cans lying around the camp and tries to shoot them off a nearby fence with dark and shadow magic

Umbra-

You blow up some cans, freaking some of the exile people out.

I doesn't need to do something cool. It was more about making plate armor that can protect me from whizzing arrows. So basically nothing ever happened, and I still have my power stone.

Jen tries to recover from the blinding light, before creating an ice-water shield using her power stone. Unless it either has a cool effect, or can turn away arrows, then it never gets made. Jen also tries to enchant her ice robes (normally with magic).

Ice is the opposite to Water

 

Its all arbitrary so don't look for much of a pattern.

Umbra calms the people of Exile... Telling them he is practicing for an up an upcoming battle

 

He then fletches more arrows for the people to go hunting with

So basically with my second heart, then I get the use of water magic. If I trained fire magic later on, how would that affect my "level" in water magic?

Jen-

You used the power stone to make the platerobes.

You see a little more clearly but are still finding it difficult to distinguish cats from cows.

Umbra-

You might things slightly worse.

 

You start making arrows.

I thought you'd inform me that something was impossible, instead of nerfing it. Oh wellz.

Jen tries to enchant her already powered platerobes. Afterwards, she attempts to heal her eyesight, before attempting to add water magic to the powered platerobes. She spends lots of time trying to heal her eyesight, and enchanting her platerobes with alternating layers of ice and water. She does this for about an hour (I have to go, be back in an hour.)

Umbra goes to the would be battlefield (under the affects of his stealth crystal (making him completely shrouded)) and scouts for a perfect sniping place

Jen fails alot and then Replaces the Ice magic enchantment with Water magic.

Oh yah, that reminds me. What ice magic/abilities have I gained from the two hours of meditation that I did earlier?

Umbra can't find any sniping spaces.

Igos tells the hunters to gather meat and the cooks to prepare it. He then tries to make a glass sphere in the tower.

Well theres my fighting plan gone... Or is it :D?

 

Umbra attempts to craft a small den that is camouflaged and looks like a regular bump, he creates it atop a small hill to get a good view of the battlefield

Igos fails to create a glass sphere. The Hunters return and prepare cooking.

Umbra-

Using his understanding of gnomish writing he starts building a gnomish hovel, which should look innocous if people don't get too close.

8.2 ice magic, I believe. Turns out I can stay for 10 more minutes. I still have to go for an hour, so that stuff all still happened. Sorry for the confusion. :)

Jen attempts to heal her eye sight. She also attempts to create an ice shield of alternating ice and water. (Please tell me relative effectiveness of the shield).

Jen can now see in the dark

The sheild fails to summon.

Igos practices his swordsmanry on the dummy.

Archarnis asks a field healer if he can help make medicine.

Jen attempts to create the ice shield again, before attempting to fully heal her eyesight. She wonders if the snowstorm she created overhead blocks out the sun enough so that she can see.

 

Jen also tries to make some sunglasses out of ice.
