You get up, and the sun appears to be setting, it only felt like you were out for a few minutes, yet hours seem to have passed.

 

Kemios-

You have a set of arms with talons at the end. It looks like you can still hold regular weapons and items with them. You have feathers covering most of your body, and a large set of wings.

I had intelligence before + 1.6 intelligence. It can't be less than 1.6 though.

Kemios tests out his new wings to see if they allow him to fly.

Umbra-

After about an hour, the sun still hasn't set. Strange. It just hangs there, casting a permenant dusk on the world. You haven't seen any sign of life since the incident. Nothing at all, not even birds or insects.

 

Jen-

I'm going by what I had here, and that said that you had 1.2 intelligence.

 

Kemios-

"This will take a while to get used to" you think to yourself as you clumsily flap around and jump, propelling yourself several meters before landing flat on your face. You note that your face doesn't have any feathers, but your skin has changed into a dark cyan colour. The feathers are a deep blue.

Umbra tries to cast magic, and goes to check if the mage is still there, I also call out for the mage

Jen reads the book again, since she doesn't remember any of it. (Yaya, another 1.6) Afterwards, she travels to the mountaintop with the hermit. (No more encounters remaining)

Kemios attempts to use air magic to assist him in his efforts in learning how to fly.

Umbra-

You cast a shadow spell, and to your surprise you cast a light bolt instead. The mage seems to be gone, but the ethereal cape is on the floor, and you can see the faint outline of the staff nearby.

 

Jen-

Doesn't work that way. You arrive at the foot of the mountain (What are you questing for at the moment?)

 

Kemios-

You fling yourself into the air without any control, and hit the ground quite hard.

I pick up the staff and arm myself with it and put on the cloak

Umbra-

Your hands go straight through the staff. You don't think it is fully within this realm.

 

Kemios-

You flap around for a while, making minor progress. +.2 flight.

Umbra-

You feel a sudden pain as if your head is about to explode, and then faint. You wake up some time later. You have no idea how long it was, since time doesn't seem to apply here.

There is a hermit that lives on top of this mountain. I think he/she is skilled in the ways of magicks, so that's why the Ivory mages sent Jen. Not sure though.

Jen slowly climbs the mountain and if she sees the hermit, she respectfully bows and asks for knowledge, specifically ice magicks.

Umbra wonders around, trying to find any clues... Like any anomolies

Jen-

The hermit seems slightly...insane. He gives you a map which you think shows a mountain, and then a large "X" at the very summit. There is a scribble of a shoe in the corner, with a circle around it. He then uses the most powerful force blast you've ever seen to knock you down the mountain, miraculously leaving you unharmed.

 

Kemios-

+.2 flight.

 

Umbra-

There is nothing which differed from the normal world, except the total lack of any noise aside from that which you make, and the irregular flow of time.
