Anyway, Umbra waits in the shadows with his shroud still up for more animals to take the bait

Ares sighs and curses at no-one in particular, and decides to try divinity magic to find where he is.

Umbra-

The snake misses you and hisses at the air before slithering up a tree, remaining in the area.

Umbra creates a huge orb of dark magic over the tree that the snake climbed up, he then crushes the orb in air so anything in the radius would be crushed

Ares is ignored by the gods.

While praying Ares hears the approach of armour clad feet.

Umbra is not that powerful...it seems.

Fires a large dark magic bolt at the tree in hopes it will fall down

Ares creates a shroud of shadow, so as to avoid detection in case of hostility.

Umbra fails to knock the tree down.

The snake, feeling vunerable, spits venom at you, which misses.

Rocco lowers a vine.

Umbra begins to get annoyed and he summons up many many dark magic magic bolts and fires them at the general direction where the venom came from

Ares creates a shroud, however the two brigards see though it instantly and draw their swords.

Ares swears loudly, and, realising that peaceful negotiation is out of the question, attempts to create a blinding flash of light.

Umbra injures himself, quiet badly when a bolt explodes in front of him.

 

The snake is slightly injured, and spits more venom, which lands on your clothes, making a hole.

Ares blinds the brigards.

Umbra while laying on the floor in a shadow of a tree, tries to use dark magic to blend in with the shadow he is laying on

Ares uses another flash of light, this time charging it using the sunsphere he had kept, to increase its intensity.

Umbra fails to blend in with the shadows.

The snake fires another venom shot, which lands directly in your mouth, and kills you.
