sa121
Note: This is just so I can let off some e-steam, so no need to tell em how dumb I am. Basically, this rant is about my unluckiness is rs of late. First story: trying to find kuradel for the first time, walk up wrong ladder, boom ko from mith drag. Now I got back and got everything, but thanks to Jagex, I didn't get to loot back my torso. Yay. Second story: So last night I was dharoking abby demons for a drop race, and an abby demon kos me. No big deal, I can get up there fast. Well, I didn't notice the time, so I was literally 4 steps away from my grave when parental controls kick in and log me off my account for about 10 hours. So, total loss from that death was 20m+ firecape. Great. Yeah, that's basically it, just needed to post this to vent some steam. Me_Hate_Libs
That's not unlucky. You just suck. And you die a lot. Dharoking is high risk, high reward. You lost. And the Mithril Dragon, well that's just very amusing. This website and its contents are copyright © 1999 - 2010 Jagex Ltd.
RSBDavid
Maybe you shouldn't have done anything risky when you knew you had parental controls and you know you get kicked off the internet at a certain time? Youmu
I agree with some of the points. How come your grave does not protect items such as that torso you are talking about? Also, what is this "parental control" thing? If it's something that kicks your internet out for a certain time period, then that's nasty. I think stuff like that should be banned. Luckily my parents are very lenient when it comes to gaming. junkiejeff
I feel sorry for you, but I don't think it has anything to do with luck. When going to dangerous dungeons, you should be very cautious. Even reading a guide on it is very useful. And the second thing could be avoided too. This might be a guess, but that parental control might be there for a reason. No purely to annoy you. quelmotz
I can sympathise with you regarding parental controls. They seriously suck. Luckily my parents don't have any such software. ---- Anyway, why didn't your grave save your torso? Was it some quest item or something? Click here for an awesome suggestion to revive smithing! I'm betting the torso they're referring to is the fighter one from a mini-game. K4ylan
Ok, the first story was all your fault, don't blame that on luck. Regarding the second story, why would you go into a dangerous situation, minutes away from having to log off? The abby demons could have waited. I understand it was a race, but there are priorities. ~~~The Harpy List~~~Harpy Facts~~~It's Super Effective~~~The Beginning~~~Harpy Therapy Center~~~Alg~~~Jedi Harpy~~~Rohirrim~~~Attenuation~~~

Rockgabriel9
You have parental controls!? That's sad. I'd [bleep] my mum up in a sec if she tried any silly stuff like that.

I'd [bleep] my mum up in a sec if she tried any silly stuff like that.In fact, I'm gonna have to go ahead and say that parental controls should be banned. Why aren't there any protests or debates regarding this? The OP should either learn hacking skills or ask a master hacker to get rid of this crap. Or, you know, ask their parents to get rid of the software. As for the first story, that isn't luck, that was just you getting lost. Kiriyama
Why should Parental Controls be banned? In some cases, they are clearly needed. For example, my friend's brother, he's completely addicted to MW2, I mean he plays it all the time, practically, and is getting little sleep too. Now, his parents have tried to control this, but it simply doesn't work. If this was a PC, it could easily be controlled. As long as you live under your parent's roof. You live by their damn rules, or get the [bleep] out. Denizen of Darkness| PSN= sworddude198

I'm pretty sure the OP is able to control his time on Runescape, and so is everyone else here. Most parents simply use it because they think video games are bad. I have something to say about those parents - stop living in the past, and stop abusing software. Kiriyama
It's not abusing. Parental control software has a good purpose, and frankly, if a parent feels it is needed, perhaps they are right. Again, their roof, their rules. EDIT: For all we know, the OP got kicked off at midnight. Denizen of Darkness| PSN= sworddude198
