DatBooty
I was looking at my stats this morning and decided I would finally work on getting all my skills up to 70. Anyways, I was planning on working on crafting first since I haven't touched it in awhile. Is it possible for me to go from 51 to 70 and make profit? Ezkaton
The only ones I can think of off the top of my head is flax and battlestaves. Others might have more info though. Reacting impulsively and saying what's on your mind feels oh so good.. for a little, until you realize you just started WWIII.2672nd person to reach 2496 total. Thanks to Wicked for the awesome siggy :D
Sirus
I'd say battlestaves as well. Glass can work pretty well too. You can alleviate the cost for both methods by doing a few things daily:-Buy 8,16,32,64 Battlestaves from Zaff each day.-You can buy more staves (up to 12 I think if you want to remain under GE cost) from Baba Yaga-Get sand from Bert after Hand in the Sand. Luckily, he delivers these right to the bank.-Head to Catherby each day and buy 80 seaweed from Arhein for 160gp. Go to Rogue's Den to turn them into soda ash, and then to Edgeville/Neitiznot (or other close furnace-to-bank) and make molten glass. Then stand at said bank and blow orbs. Gets you a good profit, and you can sell these orbs to fund buying powered orbs (if you don't want the magic xp or don't want to waste too much time). ~Sirus Finally bought my whip. =D

Merre
If u do Kingdom Managing, it's also good xp to let your workers gather flax and turn these into strings.Cheaper flax than buying on ge and easy xp + profit 2016 goals: all skills +30mil xp - Completed this goal 11th December 2016 2017 goals: get at least 3 more master capes (start xp: invention done@21st Jan, mining done@2nd April & ranged 76/104mil done@June 20th) & all skills +40mil xp (done 24th August)
Sinkhan
Go to Rogue's Den to turn them into soda ash, and then to Edgeville/Neitiznot (or other close furnace-to-bank) and make molten glass. Then stand at said bank and blow orbs. Superglass-make is probably the better option. Soda ash is pretty slow and gives absolutely no XP. You get half the amount of crafting XP per glass processed, but 1) It's cheaper/less time consuming to just use seaweed as the spell does 2) You make more glass 3) The main XP is coming from blowing the molten glass into orbs Something to fill my sig with until I find a replacement. Also check out my blug
qeltar
There are several ways you can make $ with crafting. Some are predictable and consistent, others change as prices of raw materials and outputs vary. Most are slower than the expensive methods -- by definition. BTW, there is NO profit in making battlestaves because the value of the outputs is less than the value of the inputs. Any profit involved in making them comes from getting the battlestaves from Zaff (which you can resell immediately for a profit). Bladewing
The profit from battlestaves comes from charging orbs, which is arguably magic rather than crafting. The only method you should bother with for profiting would be superglass make. How to Chin Nechyraels for fast XP and profit
yak34
Here's how I'm leveling for lunar diplomacy 1) buy molten glass ~ 450gp each 2) turn over 3k of those into unpowered orbs (from whatever my level is to 61) 3) buy 3 cosmic runes for each orb ~ 160 gp each 4) make powered orbs, whatever fits your magic lvl 5) sell the orbs, all are over 1200 ATM I think so therefore you get profit + crafting exp + magic exp and it'sjust as time consuming as collecting the materials yourself.
