Demario
A lot of talk is about Nomad's difficulty? That's another topic for another thread. I have another point to make. People take Nomad as example of monsters that will be even harder to do in the future. Again, that may be true. This is to clear up something I wanted people to take note of. "Bilrach is of Average power." Many people think that Bilrach is Nomad. Now the discussion is that if Bilrach is of "normal power" imagine how hard Lucien is going to be. Why do you assume that? Clearly one of the story points, technically it may have been the only point in the thin plot, is that Nomad was powering himself up. People speculate he was doing it to chalenge Lucien. Well, if this is the case, Nomad/Bilrach wouldn't have been of "average power" anymore. He would've been a great deal stronger. Perhaps Lucien isn't as tough as him? Ok.. but Lucien holds the Stone of Jas AND the Armadyl Staff. Wouldn't he be *extremely* powerful now? Like 10 x Nomad? :S maybe... and maybe you bring the warriors back whom died in the first grandmaster quest to HELP you if he is too strong to beat My vengeance is everything....everything must come to an end
Misterknowitall
Maybe we'll use Nomad's machine against Lucien
Kalafai
I'd go for telegrab the Stone of Jas from the back window while he isn't looking.
Gravy
Nomad is very strong but I dont think that improves the quality of the quest in any way.Well.. maybe slightly. No, it doesn't. Totally did in my opinion, set a new standard for quests which beats the usual "stick up protection prayers and hack away at it." So instead of 'stick up pro prayers til it's dead' you get 'stuff yourself with tons of food til it's dead.' Doesn't really sound like an improvement to me. I like the daggnanoth mother quest boss though, bosses that have random weakbesses you need to exploit instead of just, oh, let me tank the thing to death. What tactics players use while fighting Nomad totally depend on their stats. If you're maxed combat with soul split, you can stand there and tank him till he's dead. If you're not, you can't. I'm nearly maxed melee with 90 summoning and 82 prayer, and the three times I tried to tank him, I failed miserably. Tactics are absolutely necessary for players like me, which include lower level players. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.
