I just picked up Bayonetta for the X Box 360. Seems like a really good game, going to play it a little later.

 

Just wondering if anyone else has got it, and what your opinions are on it.

Played the demo from the PS Store..

 

Hated the camera, so that, unfortunately, put me off the game. Though I somewhat enjoyed it, the camera was a major flaw for me.

I saw a review of it, looked like it would be an interesting game, not one I'll buy though.

Best console game I've played in a long long time. Even on normal this game is satisfylingly hard, and theres plenty of replayability. So many unlocks! So many secrets!

I have it, and I think it's pretty good. The combat is easy to learn but some-what hard to master. I hate when you get the leopard ability it becomes almost impossible for me to dodge very well. Oh well I guess. The weapons are cool, except maybe the whip. The accessories are waaaaaaaay overpriced, making getting a few of the achievements tedious. Strangely, I like the music. I don't know why since I don't listen to that stuff, but still. The bosses are pretty cool as well. The camera CAN get in the way a few times, but it's not that big of a deal. The Asaheim (?) challenges can be totally unfair sometimes (e.g. the one where you have to kill those two tiger things using a set amount of attacks). Other than that it's very good.

For the limited kick / punch alfheim, get into witch time and then charge your katana to full, and release when they are both near to you. It'll take quite a few attempts, but I found it to be the easiest way.

I haven't played this game yet, but I've read some very polarized reviews about the game. Some say the game is brilliant, some say it's a wannabe DMC3 with the KUHRAAAZY scenes, don't know what to belive yet.

Don't forget the book. I always have to get a good feel before my little cousins come over, read the thing, and then throw it around and wrinkle it.

After playing the first level, I can say that I really enjoy the game. Only draw back is the camera. But besides that it a lot of fun to play and watch. Also A very intresting story. So all and all a very good game so far.

Hmm... this game is now in my top 15 of games all time. Very intresting story, and funny cut scenes. The combat is easy, and fun to watch. And the detail to game is great as well. And to top it all off the music score is great as well. Love it :thumbup:

No game can have a camera worse than Lego Batman.... That being said, I thought Devil May Cry was cool and I'm looking for a new type of adventure game to get for 360, so this could be it.

The only resemblance I really found between it and DMC3 was the difficulty. DMC3 was the harder of the two though.

this games fun, plus the chick character is smokin hot, they did excellent graphics work on her, storyline is nice. so if anyone whom is thinking about getting it i'd say give it a try, it's not too bad of a game.

Just got done beating the game...and I have to say the ending is intense. The story did not come toghter untill the last half hour or so, but there is a lot of replay value in this game. So all and all I give it a 8/10

The ending is great, but before that when you have to play through all the bosses ten million times between the middle of the game and the end, it got bloody annoying. I hate games that throw the same bosses at you multiple times.

Get over yourself. It doesn't even show naked breasts for christ's sake, like a lot of games. The nipples are blocked out when they do. It's a perfectly fine M rated game, and other than some of the sexual content, it's really not that violent or dialogue-wise bad.

Agreed. According to the ESRB Mature rated game are games that:

Contains content that might be considered unsuitable for people under 17 years of age. Titles in this category may contain intense violence (more so than in the Teen category), blood and gore, sexual themes/content, use of alcohol/drugs, and frequent use of strong language.

 

While adult rated games are:

Contains content that is considered unsuitable for people under 18 years of age, and cannot be bought by anyone below that age. These may include adult video games that depict sex and nudity and/or extreme depictions of violence that include blood and gore.

For short...Bayonetta is suited perfectly for M rated status.
