December 31, 200520 yr wu-tang clan and fave producer is the rza or dj premier. but unfortunately no one even considers hiphop music so no one knows what I mean. on the rock side its led zeppelin as my favorite band (just because their whole career was good, not just some of it like metallica or incubus) and my favorite guitarist is jimi hendrix.

I'm more into the old stuff like 3rd bass, and some of the older three six mafia. I like all music, rock rap polka country techno, hell, stuff in other languages is good too.... but, it's not that people don't consider rap. It's that they said band / guitarist.... not "rap group" or "rapper" ...

I only wish I'd thought of it first. amen to that. i love petruccis guitar. i would say my fave band is red hot chili peppers and i love john frusciantes guitar too. but there different genres and both the best u can be in their respective genre.

January 3, 200620 yr I'm pretty sure we have a favourite band topic but oh well. Band - Blink 182. Nothing seems to have compared to these since I got into em. Guitarist - Tom Delonge. The reason being, not that he writes amazing solo's and stuff, not that he's super talented, but he got me into music, he got me into playing guitar and he can turn a couple powerchords into a masterpiece. I agree with his favorite guitarist comment, Tom Delonge is an amazing guitarist, but didn't you hear that blink 182 officially broke up?...check out Tom Delonges new band Angels & Airwaves, they are gonna be sick. Alright, I don't like his usual style but I saw him on some big guitar festival on t.v with other guys like clapton and he did this bluessy hendrix sort of thing that blew me away. John Petrucci is amazing (take the time is beautiful) but I also just really love some of the grooves that Page and Bonham created. As far as metal guitarists go the guys from iron maiden take the cake those solos are crazy. Favorite band would be the mars volta just because of Cedric Bixler-Zavala.
