I don't recall asking for permission to complain. And that's not even what I'm really complaining about. And come on 1k seeds.. That's 250 hours at the least amount of time. That's about 13 days doing 19 herb runs a day meaning for anyone but gertjaars it's a lot more than 13 days. If you can find someone that has actually tested that many seeds and kept a record of it I'd love to see it. I'm sure tons of people have farmed 1k seeds, actually I probably have, but I don't know of anyone who kept a record of herb yields doing 1000 seeds

50 seeds doesn't produce credible results. Nowhere near close to presentable research.

Never said it did.

That's why I want to see results of someone testing 1000 seeds.

Yes you did. I got the 50 seeds from your original post, which you used that and one other example to claim, not ask, that there was no correlation between level and yield.

That's called an example. I don't see anywhere in my post that I called it a test. Btw since when is this a scientific study sent out to prove something with "credible results". It's in the rants forums not the bugs and suggestions forum for a reason.

(If somehow you don't know the reason it's because it's not a suggestion it's just a rant)

You can call it whatever you want. If you offer a theory, in this case "farming level has no effect on herbs yielded," then anything you present as evidence to the theory is a test.

"Rants" forum, not the "get bad luck and blame the system" forum. Being in the rants forum doesn't excuse you from making baseless statements as if they are fact, and not backing up said statements with useful evidence. It would be like me starting a thread saying "Doing a barrows run doesn't yield Karil's armor, so Jagex must have made it discontinued. I know this because I did 50 barrows runs and I know someone else who did 50 barrows runs and we both came up dry. Oh and Jagex says they didn't discontinue them but they really did."

By making a claim and not backing it up, you sound no more intelligent than the guy standing on the street corner screaming about how the government did 9/11.

I'm really wishing I had kept a record, I thought about it when I was level 85 or so but never got around to it between then and 99.

6.88 average over 1k toadflax seeds, using my arms patch and digging up diseased herbs. A total of 92 deaths (ate a slice of pie each time a seed died).

Even this isn't a large enough sample size, I stopped testing after that 1k but I have the feeling my average went down to 6.7 or something, I should just do it again but I can't be bothered to keep the herbs anymore.

I do agree with what you're trying to say though, farming level should affect yield. I just didn't find your 50 bad seeds a reason to start a rant :P

Ehm picture. I translated the dutch.

1k seeds, 6883 total, 6.88 average, 19008k profit, 19k profit/seed.

And yeah I sold those about 1.5 weeks before the herblore update

I knew D Jay would have a record of farming 1k herb seeds. I think Farming level should definitely affect yield.

To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.

I started doing toadflax, it was doing bad at first but got better. I'm at 6.5 avg in 72 seeds, also 99 farming and magic secateurs
