Sheep Tails
I found trying to attain 10 skill goals at once too much, so now I have a goal I can (probably) focus on. I am going to try for 75 attack and the 70mil for th SGS. I was hoping there was a decent way to try to get both at once (sort of). I know the "perfect" answer is slayer, but my current task is 100 and somthing lesser demons, which I really can't do well - any ideas? I have 60 attack and strength and 57ish defence - so I really need help X.D Follower of GuthixThe quill is a miracle, for it drinks darkness and sheds light. Oh right, by the way, I'm a girl. I say go with slayer, at worst invest some money on mackerels/cornucopia combo
SirIzenhime
Green dragons wouldn't too bad at your level, but the competetion and need for food could be a bit much I'm a huge fan of Slayer myself, it's what I do the most. You might find a certain monster you like through slayer, like I find aberant spectres to be amazing profits, and not too hard to kill. Sheep Tails
Thank you both. So I should go with slayer? It's just that at my level (46) I generally don't get tasks with good drops. Which slayer master chousl I use exactly? I certainly don't want to have Chaeldar give me lessers again... Follower of GuthixThe quill is a miracle, for it drinks darkness and sheds light. zotto
When I don't know what to do I check my stats and see what's close to the next level. Then I just go for that. Usually takes just one day, although it is getting harder and harder since the lowest skill is now 60.
ovorette
Grab your dragon halberd and finish your assignment while training strength in the safe spots under the Karamja volcano. Or, get a new assignment from Turael in Burthorpe since you aren't yet on the slayer point track from Smoking Kills (do this as soon as you are able to, by the way :) ). I would stick with Vannaka as your slayer master for now. He doesn't seem to assign monsters in such great numbers. As to your money goal, you are not going to make 70M from Slayer alone on your way to 75 attack so you will need another money-making method along the way. Farming herbs is an excellent complement to slaying because of its almost passive nature. Good luck!
Aslan
Just getting 75 attack with such a low slayer level will not get you the money for an sgs.I'd say train str/def too, until 70, with whip on controlled then simply use whip to get 75 att. You could also farm herbs/use MTK(manage thy kingdom) for extra money. As for the slayer master don't use Chaeldar, as the tasks that you can get from there can be nasty for your level and will make you dislike slayer. Sheep Tails
Thanks everyone. I will be doing herbs at the same time, so I can maximise the profit I get. I probably will change to vannaka as suggested. Chaeldar is a pain in the neck at my level. When I have a few mil, should I invest in a cannon? Aslan
I'd leave the cannon until a few slay levels later, when canooned tasks begin to pay for themselves.
Sheep Tails
Thanks Aslan. So around 50ish slayer is a good time to get a cannon then? Mischlings
Thanks Aslan. So around 50ish slayer is a good time to get a cannon then? I would start around 60, when you can cannon aberrant spectres. Those can actually pay for the cannonballs and prayer potions that you need in order to cannon them. The only negative part is that you need the slayer helmet to cannon them, but they can help pay for other tasks that you cannon. If you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.
Aslan
To be honest I never used a cannon on a task, or outside one for that matter.I got 99 range way before I started to slay properly so I don't need one as I resort to melee. 60+ slayer should be fine for canooning,
Sheep Tails
Thanks all.
