Ant0n
Im currently 73 magic and i am aiming for 90. I want an alternative to alching because i need 68k alches and that is quite costly. Is there anything with lower loss at the same xp rate?

Is there anything with lower loss at the same xp rate? alching is about the lowest cost thing i've found ... air battlestaves will actually make you a little gp but you can only buy 100 at a time. also i normally get almost 20k exp from the circus but that's only once a week
Zaaps1
Dragonstone enchanting in the MTA is very good, and when you reach Onyx enchant, you beat alching in xp AND cost. Lunar spells are good as well, such as superglass make, which is a bit slower than alching but profits. However, if you really want to make every coin count, I heavily recommend bursting rock lobsters. Compared to all the benefits, it's ridiculously cheap, and since all the updates to magic and the Familiarization minigame, it only keeps getting better/cheaper. Yes, yes. It's FACE VALUE is much higher, but in reality when you look at the big picture, you are saving a lot of money. ~It's Super Effective! SythenRs
When you get to 80 consider String Jewellery from the lunar spells. I don't know if it's cheaper, but its a lot less clicky, allowing you to browse forums :)

Patr1ck
I suggest superheating, doing iron ore, its about 80k magic xp and 15k smithing xp per hour, with only around 65-75 gp loss.
Jadinko
I love this question cos I can win every time. 1k stuns with sc Mage hat = 180k exp1k stuns costs less than 240k now that's an incredible 1.3gp/exp, and at over 100k an hour including the time to get the hats, you're clearly onto a winner. Good luck :) Miseryism | Completionist
mlskid
How about buying a steam battlestaff, and then using humidify? And while farming you can make a large profit. Just make the vials filled with water into grimy unf pots. This way you raise your farming a little bit, and your mage. And you still profit doing both. Summoning help:[hide=Wio, lol][/hide]

Duality64
if you did lunar and got have the lvl for plank make that is good as welluse just get your logs from chopping or from your kingdom everyweek or soand humitty is also something that is good just go to each store that buys vials and fill them once a daybut other then that alching would be the best way unless you go and slayer dart barrows for cash and buy runes for ice burst and kill something with that cast I am Pure I am True I am all Over You...
