I've never gotten one yet. I've been killing 100's of banshees. I would say I'm close to 1000. Is there any way to improve the chances of getting a scroll?

100's is nothing, you could be killing 10,000's. Like everyone says, its random. They say switching between all the monsters that drop champion scrolls helps.

 

 

I camped giants for a week, with nothing to show for it.

I really wanted one of these too, so I spent quite a while in my effort. I killed about 10k imps around the Tower of Life and got nothing. Then I killed about 17K zombies in the wilderness graveyard and got nothing.

 

Finally I got one after about 700 goblins. It really takes quite a while.

 

I've heard that people powertraining on armored zombies get them fairly regularly. Probably because they are killing so many of them, though.

I've gotten 2 from abberant specteres in 2 tasks (probably 300 kills) but i have killed THOUSANDS of earth warriors and i haven't gotten a single one, it's completely random.

Ive killed 5000 goblins without one, ive killed lots of others that drop them and havent got one...its all random

 

I wouldnt mind getting one though...just to unlock the final music track

Im pretty lucky... in 80 imp kills ive gotten a scroll, in 200 goblin kills ive gotten two. I wish I could sell them XD

I've only got one Challenge Scroll at that as form Banshees. I dont know how many Banshee tasks I've had for slayer, but I havent actually killed that many of them compared to some people.

 

Like all things in RS rare drop related its random.

Yea i got my first zombie champion scroll after well over 10k of them. Have also killed close to 7k giants and skeletons without one. Its all random though.

 

I agree with the others on how it's completely random. I was a few K from an level so I decided to kill Skeletons in the Chaos Tunnels, and got a random champion scroll within 10 kills <_<

 

It's not a myth though, and I'm sure you'll eventually get one ^_^

in over 5 years of playing, I've only ever gotten one champion scroll, and it was from a skeleton I killed on a random Barrows trip.

 

To be honest, the champions challenge isn't anything special, I really don't get why there's such a hype about them, those imps are actually kind of annoying imo.
