March 2, 201016 yr You probably got a message that said "Driver Error"? When one person gets that everyone gets that, as it is a server side issue and nothing wrong with your browser or system. It seems to me that the forum has been down quite a bit lately.
March 2, 201016 yr It was just a few technical issues, nothing to be worried about. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)RIP Michaelangelopolous

March 3, 201016 yr Well the forums are back up now. Unfortunately there's nothing that can be done to guarantee the forums fully working 24/7. There's always a chance of something going wrong and the forum needing a reboot. Pyramid Plunder Guide Tip.it Forum Rules Adventurer's LogThanks to Cowboy14 for the awesome sig!
March 6, 201016 yr There's something up with our monthly cron jobs that causes some issue with the server when they happen. We're still trying to debug these, the "Driver Error" basically means our MySQL server is offline, nothing to be worried about.
March 7, 201016 yr Pure_MageUK, it sounds to me like the backup program is trying to lock out the insanely large MySQL database while it does its' backup routines. If you can, I suggest installing some kind of "volume shadow copy" or "internal file sharing" service that steps in and helps you get around the mess. ~D. V. "There's gotta be a way out?" Devnull and normally with a cool mind.(Warning: This user can be VERY confusing to some people... And talks in 3rd person for the timebeing due to how insane they are... Sometimes even to themself.)

Devnull It's not a backup cron job and our method for backing up the database doesn't lock anyway. :)
March 8, 201016 yr <<<Quote Snip>>> It's not a backup cron job and our method for backing up the database doesn't lock anyway. :) Whoops, my mistake... saw "cron" and equivocated it to being some background task specifically related to backups. #-o ~D.
