If below 55/65 slay i say at least get it to those levels for the use of broad bolts and then the ability to kill dust devils. If you don't want to do slayer there are a few options for you to train on including bandits (mostly outdated), Armoured Zombies (one of the better choice), and zombie monkies (only if you are serious about it).
