With that, Kimako heads to the ecologist base. She asks them "I was wondering what the dangers of the gases produced by a chemical anomaly pose. Are they dangerous? I want to collect a large sample of it, to do some intensive research on it and perhaps figure out its properties. May I please have a large collection capsule and some instruments to operate it?"

I check how much money I have, and how many 9mm rounds. If I have more than 2000, then I buy the Daewoo. I ask where I can buy melee weapons like a machete.

Enigma hauls the body of the humanoid to an ecologist base, and asks how it's psy powers work, and if it's possible to transfer into humans while retaining their sanity.

Who is giving you the mission and what is it?

Karl:

The SSP-99 Mk. II suit is 3500c. It provides another +1 to all environmental protection, along with an added PSY mesh (+2 PSY protection)

 

Kimako:

The ecologists tell you that the gas is unstable, highly flammable along with being very hard to harvest. The tools to harvest it are quite expensive, as well.

 

Varius:

You have 1950c. The duty trader tells you the loners have some melee weapons.

 

Enigma:

The ecologists tell you that the creature's brain is responsible for the PSY abilites, but is much larger than a human brain. However, it will aid them in their studies of what exactly causes the PSY abilites in the first place.

[Earth]

i ask for an anomolie mission from the ecologists.

Karl asks the ecologists if they know where any more anomolies are or need some more antenna put up/repaired.

"Please, I really need to study this unstable gas. If you can loan me the harvesting equipment, and give me one of the larger containment capsules, then I'll do my best to convince the Duty commander to protect you at a very low or nonexistant fee. You could save a lot of money which could be used for more research."

 

Then Kimako asks for a better suit that protects against PSY too for her service of the ecologists, since it seems incredibly common now that enemies have PSY waves.

Enigma asks the Ecologists if they could message him if they discover the cause of the psy abilities.

 

He then goes back to the duty base and asks for his next assignment.

The professor tells you that no new anomalies have been picked up by the antenna.

 

Kimako:

The ecologists refuse, telling you they cannot spare the tools, along with the fact that they require extensive training to use. However, they agree to add some mesh to your SSP-99 Mk. I helmet that will provide some PSY protection, if you help with some expedition involving Karl. (by the way, suits with closed-cycle breathing systems already have a helmet, so you can't add another)

 

Enigma:

The duty commander tells you that the ecologists have some big assignment.

Karl asks the ecologists if they know where any more anomolies are or need some more antenna put up/repaired. (How much cash do I have?)

Kimako accepts, but tells the ecologists she has to stop by the Duty base quickly first. Then she runs to the Duty base, asks if they have any sort of poison gas (like Sarin, mustard gas, Cyanide) in grenade or bag form, telling the commander that she really needs it to wipe out Renegade. Then she runs back to the Ecologist base.

You count 3100c in your pockets. The professor tells you that there are no other missions, besides the big assignment. However, you see a few other people that seem interested.

 

Kimako:

The duty commander tells you that they don't have any shipments of deadly chemicals in right now. He reminds you that the renegades will now shoot you on sight, as one of the (very) few women in the zone attacked them.

 

Earth:

The ecologist hands you some fancy helmet, which gives PSY protection. However, he tells you to return it once you are finished.

Enigma accepts the mission and heads to the ecologist base for breifing.

 

Earth, I'd appreciate it if you were at least a little subtle. We can't have somebody running in and getting killed.

Karl asks if he and jen can have the coordinates of the location.

[Earth]

uhm... dude... i dont always rush in there with guns ablazing and machete chopping.. i go to the ecologist trader, and buy as many ... what was the semi auto gun that i have?.... rounds that i can, then go back and ask what i need to do.

EDIT: found it, its mp5. i buy as many mp5 ammo as i can, and go ask what i need to do from the ecologist leader.

The professor marks the location on your PDA. Your helmets are outfitted with some PSY resistant mesh.

Kimako returns to the Duty Commander in her ecologists suit, with her hair dyed blonde and make up applied, talking to him in a Texan accent.

 

"Excuse me Sir, but I want to join Duty."

 

If he's fooled, then she asks for several smoke grenades, a thermal visualiser thing (so she can shoot despite the smoke), a few regular grenades, and some ammo for her Ak-47, if she doesn't have much. If he doesn't give it to her, then Jen heads to the location marked on the PDA.

Karl goes off to the location.

[Earth]

do i buy the ammo? if so, i load my mp5 to max clip, and make my way slowly to my destination with the others. if not, i go and buy as much mp5 ammo as i can load up, and go to my destination with the others.

Enigma begins heading to the location.

 

Kimako, mind controlling Enigma for the mission? I need sleep.

Earth:

The ecoloist hands you 20 9mm rounds for the mission.

 

Karl:

You go off to the location specified. Your PDA begins beeping, saying "Critical PSY emissions, leave the area." However, the modifications seem to protect you. You see an old factory on the horizon.

 

Kimako:

The commander laughs, saying, "I can see right through that disguise. Most people around here can, too. The renegades are experts at such tactics as well, so don't think you will be able to fool them easily." You think it would be a good idea to head off with the rest of the group.

 

Enigma:

You head off with Karl, arriving at the outskirts of some factory.
