Rare market help

Featured Replies

Ok, I want something that costs a low amount of cash, but has high street value and will not likely crash with a Jagex update or naturally (HINT HINT MINT CAKE). I have 100m in my bank along with an onyx and 500 wergali unf. What should I buy?

Try and get your hands on a hook!

The problems with hooks is that Jagex might make an update to get them easier and therefore they will crash? Would getting more wergali unf be the best option? They are a high street value and if Jagex messes with them, they will have to change the ge value by a large amount.

Does anyone think that royal items will never crash and will just remain high in street value?

As more royal enters the market, they will go down. I wouldn't trust royal anything. You should be easily able to get 2 hooks for your onyx, maybe you'll need to throw in werg pots too. I've heard from a fairly reliable source (Not RS Wiki) That uncut onyx can be looted from kingly imps. If that is true, then onyx may go down a bit in street, although it shouldn't crash, seeing as how rare an onyx from them seems to be.

Honestly, with any high street priced item, which isn't a rare, there is a chance of Jagex tampering with it. It would be possible for Jagex to change the price of (unf) werg pots to more closely mirror their ge price, to make hooks untradable, etc. There is always a risk.

BTW: If you want to sell that onyx, I'll buy it :D

Tbh I'd stay away from trading for a bunch of unf wergali until you see what they end up doing after this weekend. They probably won't lose street value but I think there's a higher risk of them losing street value after this weekend then there is normally.

How much are wegali unf pots worth each? I didnt know they had much value. Ive been farming them for a week or so now and have got almost 500 herbs.

I wouldnt bother making unf potions from your herbs. It serves no purpose you are just throwing your money down the drain not to mention paying for someone else's herblore experience.

If you want to get your hands on a few rare items, there are better ways to do so. Just stay on the look out for items that could possibly become valuable. I know a friend who spent 200mil+ herb supplies right after the bonus experience was announced and he got a couple of hooks for the lot.

I agree, if I wasn't going to use them I would have made just over 30m profit keeping them as herbs instead of making 2.4m making them into unf pots.
