Just a question to see if it was possible for me to use the CT instead of the Ancient cavern...

I'll be using a Unicorn Stallion, Verac's flail, Extreme potions, Slayer helmet and Piety.

The only reason to use the Chaos Tunnels is if you have an iron or steel titan and can use their scrolls (which speed up kill speed A LOT). It's not worth it if you're not using a combat familiar.

It might be worth it with a geyser titan, but it will be very short trips then without turmoil/soul split, and without using brews.

 

Before soul split, I would brew and repot every 6 min, but that would be a bit of a waste of your extremes.

Berserker, onyx ring is a waste because you can easily sell it for a lot on the street market.

Berserker only has +4 strength while onyx (i) has +6 EVERYTHING. That should say it all.

Still, +6 crush, +6 str, +6 def > +8 str.

 

Especially with your low attack, the +6 crush will be handy.

Might depend on the weapon you're using too, z spears have more accuracy but less str and sara swords have more strength but less att. Then again, I doubt you're using the ss because you're "anti-strength" so if you're using a z spear go with the zerker.

My bad -- I refuse to get the imbued rings and I missed the (i). But still, the attack bonuses are quite a bit more valuable, since no matter whether you use crush or not, you're still going to miss quite a bit. So, really, you'll want the attack (and don't forget some defence) more than slightly more strength. That's how I'd look at it, but I don't the rings to really know or have tested it out.
