Any ideas on the best place to mine Iron Ore that's close to a bank?

Probably be one of the Varrock Mines.

both of the varrock mines are close to a bank, and you can also use the rimmington mines using the entrana boats deposit box(the deposit box next to the boats is f2p)

I used the Varrock West mine. You can bring along laws, fires, and airs to speed it up a little bit by teleing to ge after getting a load then running to bank to deposit then run back to the mine.

Either Varrock mine or rimmington with Falador teles. Or as someone said, the deposit box near Entrana ship.

Get an explorer's ring 3, and use the rimmington mine. Use the ring tele, then use the entrena dock deposit box for banking. There is also usually less people at the rimmington mines, so it's much less frustrating to mine there.

or the little mine in the wild, north of edgeville with 2 iron and 3 coal, if you dont mind being attack by skeletons and sometimes revs.

That's what I did when I was F2P and it seemed pretty fast.
