March 27, 201016 yr The fact that iron ore's smelt rate is now 80% (max). It's largely this that has kept the price of iron ore at a high number. I suggest that if you need large amounts and you don't have the money to buy it, try mining at Piscatoris. Alternatively, if you have the Ardy cape that can teleport to the Monestary and a bunch of duel arena rings, you can mine iron just outside of there and bank it relatively quickly.
March 27, 201016 yr It's not just iron bars, they are also used for steel bars too. That's why they are so heavily in demand. The only way to fix this would be to make concentrated iron deposits.
