Bubsa
Ian poulters dress sense > All of you :P Golf is no longer the game it was 20 years ago it is now seen as a younger and older generation sport. At the risk of being contradictory, he's right. The stereotype has gone and the dress sense is...a little better. And it can only be good. Golf has many magic moments, Tiger at the masters last year () the Ryder Cup and the Golden Bear. All done with a smile and general good nature. That's what sport's all about :) This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
How2PK
When I think of golf I think of disgusting snobs that talk with an aweful snobbish accent and feel better because they are rich. How very non-stereotypical of you. Since I am a golfer and definitley the opposite of that. I average around 10 over par, but I have played for about 2 years now. Play more in the summer but during the school year I have too much work and extra activities. I was just stating what I think of when I hear the word golf, I wasn't saying everybody golf player is like that... And, Cj: Hush. ^.^ Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!

Don't talk your a fool, actually learn the people who play it before you accuse thanks  Okay, thanks? You know what I could say? Don't talk, you're a fool. Get to know somebody before you judge them, thanks. <--- or something among those lines. I've known plently of people who have played golf, and frankly, the golf-culture that I experienced here in Holland is like this. And great job for having a wrong interpretation of my reply. Noob. How2PK
Sjeez, I can't even say what I think off when I hear a word without the entire forum jumping on me, making all kind of weird assumptions: what's up with you people? :? Bubsa
Well when i think of rugby players I think of big ogres with more muscles than brain cells! How do ya like that one then mr bubsa! :P And thus, the circle of life is complete :P Remember kids: stereotyping isn't fun but everyone is entitled to and will be influenced in different ways into having a stereotype. It's when they try to enforce these ideologies on others is when the trouble starts. I can't see Daan ever doing that in his post(s); he was merely answering the question. Funny, I thought the whole point in creating any topic was to have a discussion. If everyone just answered the question, there would be no discussion. Its when people question other people's answers...well, you get my point. Lol.

If everyone just answered the question, there would be no discussion. Its when people question other people's answers...well, you get my point. Lol. Your political correctness is sickening me. It's a topic about what you think when you hear the word golf, for God's sake. I answer the question (I really don't see what I could debate on this subject btw), and suddendly everybody starts to interpretate the reply the way they want and put words in my mouth to flame me? For what? The sake of discussion? Oh man, get out of here. It's just a fun topic, there is nothing to discuss. I just found it odd, and wanted to know what has happened to make you think that :? I didn't put words in your mouth, or say you said something that you didn't. I KNOW you didn't say all golfers are like that. Infact I could care less if you said all golfers were rich snobs. I just wanted to know why? :? Sorry for asking
How2PK
It's a stupid question anyway, if you think for five seconds you've got the answer. What could it be? "Uhm...when How2PK hears the word golf he thinks of rich snobs, hmm, why is he thinking about that when he hears the word golf? Would it be because of the poor workless people in his district play the game every sundaymorning? Or would it be because almost all people in his district who play the game "golf" are rich and snobbish? Hmm, I think I'll go for the first answer. " Please. The putting words in my mouth wasn't refering to you btw. Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore! Lol, do you really think I'm an idiot or something? Illiterate? Suuure. I'm not sure how you got into it Bubsa, I was only really aiming at How2Pk's comment  I know he only thinks of that when he hears the word golf. Fine, no problem. We all know its not true, and noone said it was. I know. He has proved that it's not worth arguing, which he's right, it isn't. He thinks of that for a reason, sadly, but it's just what he initially thinks of from experience. He was being honest...ok, I get it. I agreed, he's right, I wasn't. I really don't see what you're trying to say here Bubsa. :?
