cadburys_egg
...What do you think of? The Stereotypical Often people think of this, the old person with knicker-bockers on hitting a wooden club. The Modern Nowadays this is being thought of as golf, people in their young 20's bombing 300+ yard drives. The New-Age Very few, not nobody, thinks of golf as being this. Young early teen golfers learning the basics and some times out-driving () beating the grown ups. Now, grade yourself and tell me why you think this. :)

Ian Poulter and his legendary trousers... You simply cant get any more ownage than that... Infact there is a huge market for golf fashion (while staying withing the dress code of course). ClassicNerd
When I golf I wouldn't say I look terrible at all  I am a very good golfer so I don't really concentrate on looking spectacular, I'm a 4 Handicap
Bubsa
I appreciate there is a huge market for that fashion, but it's found in stores such as "Wallies R Us" This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.

As long as it has a collar, it can be worn. If the trousers arent jeans or joggers, they can be worn. Its only the more 'extravagant' clothes (proper turtlenecks or of the such) are found in golf specialists. So stop being so darn golfist :P (if that even is a word)
Ryan
I think of a sport that is only good when played casually. And is hardly any fun to watch, especially on tv.

I agree it may be boring to watch but is certaily intresting to watch. Especially when you see the skill they have with the game. Or seeing those rare moments like hole-in-ones or things of the such. Bubsa
Don't get me wrong, Golf can be very dramatic and does require a lot of skill and knowledge. It's just a shame they can't do it in smart-cas. :( This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.

Bmw
Lol at some replies so far! When I think of golf, I think of modern day golfing. Around here, golfing is pretty cool. I'd love to take some golf lessons one day. And as far as the fashion sense...its pretty awesome. Golf clothes, polo's, they're just so, conservative looking. I love that look. Sometimes golfers look stupid, but if worn properly, golf clothes have the potential to look amazing.

How very non-stereotypical of you. Since I am a golfer and definitley the opposite of that. I average around 10 over par, but I have played for about 2 years now. Play more in the summer but during the school year I have too much work and extra activities. Ghost: I am prejudice towards ignorance, so that would explain why I appear to be so. Only at very high ranked golf courses the dress code is imperial, most others you can basically wear whatever you want as long as there is nothing that provokes anything innapropiate such as sex, drugs, or alcohol. And its November here and I'm still golfing, dress code only applies when its warm weather, I don't think you would see me in shorts in 5 degree weather
