I'm getting off for the night. 73k Prayer XP today. I'll probably be fairly busy this weekend, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to go on RS or post here much (although it's also possible I'll find time to).

Remember to post what you think I should buy first for GWD! I'd really like to know what item some of you think would be most helpful.

For some help:

Current gear - Whip, Fury, Skill Cape (t), Soul Wars Cape, Warriors Ring, Spirit Shield, Dragon Dagger, Dragon Halberd, Full Void - all 3 sets

Gear I don't have that I might want to get - Dragonfire Shield, Bandos Godsword, Bandos Chestplate, Bandos Tassets, Blessed Spirit Shield, Some Barrow's sets, Dragon Armor

^Just because it's not on this list doesn't mean you can't suggest it^

I'm looking at a price limit of about 40m for my first item(s), just for reference. Cheaper is fine too, it just means I'll get the item sooner

The biggest debate I'm having with myself is between getting a Godsword or getting better armor, especially armor that would benefit me soloing.

This is the first time I've been able to get on tonight. I will probably be getting off soon as well lol. I'm getting in a little prayer, but not much.

I'm still waiting on those suggestions for GWD gear :P

I applaud you for still going through with this.

By now I would have either given in and bought baby dragon bones or dragon bones or just sold the lot and said "Screw it I'm doing something else."

Get yourself a nice dragonfire shield :D

I am quite fond of the Dragonfire Shield, and when I've had one in the past I've found it very useful. Plus, it's probably one of the best pieces of gear for soloing. A DFS or BGS are the two things I'm considering most seriously.

Well, I was correct about yesterday not being a day I had time for RS, and now this week begins AP testing, so it's going to be interesting to see if I get much play-time in. I'll try to get in whatever Prayer XP I can each day.

I'm still interested in what you guys think you should buy as my first piece of GWD gear! We have one vote for DFS, but there's still plenty of time until I'll be done with 95 Prayer. :P

I'm on doing Prayer right now and should be able to stay on for a bit. My AP Calculus exam is tomorrow, but for some reason I feel just about ready. I'm not sure if that's a good thing...

Good news! I will soon (in the next few hours of Prayer training) finally break the 100k Big Bones left mark. This means I will be able to actually see how many Big Bones I have left, as opposed to simply "105k." It will also trick me into thinking I am significantly closer to being done

Hey, I'm working on similar goals, but the other way around.

Would you mind sharing how you did herblore? I think it'll be my next goal.

Disclaimer: The above is probably inaccurate.

Hey, I'm working on similar goals, but the other way around.

For herblore I simply picked the most cost effective potion at the time, that had all tradeable ingredients, and wasn't really low XP. I ended up doing Super Attack potions the whole time, mostly because the ingredients were easy to buy, and it was one of the most cost effective potions at the time.

I used the RuneScape Wikia Potions calculator to find up to date cost/xp calculations for each potion:

RuneScape Wikia Potions Calculator

I went to the link above, and then organized the list by profit per xp, with the most positive profits per xp at the top. The site also includes the relative demand for each potion on the Grand Exchange, but I am not sure quite how accurate that is (it lists Super Attack as "high" demand, but I had to sell for minimum every time). It is probably better to just use your knowledge of what potions will buy/sell on the GE to determine if you'll have a lot of trouble selling your product or not.

As of right now, Prayer Potions are looking like a pretty good choice.

Keep it up and good luck!

3 AP tests down, 2 to go...

This weekend is also looking to be quite busy, so I'm not sure how much Prayer training I'll be able to get in. I'd like to at least get in some... I hate making no progress for long periods of time.

In other news:

I got 33 Dungeoneering, but apparently didn't screeny it.

I beat my brother in tennis (only played one set lol, and neither of us is exactly what you would call "good").

Hm. You did herb fast, and now you're doing prayer slow.

I did prayer fast, and now I'm doing herb slow.

(Rofl @ 30k regular energy potions.)

Want to have an unofficial race?

(I'd have to train some melees too.)

Haha. :P I would gladly accept your challenge, except for the fact that I know I would lose. I still have over 97k Big Bones left, and I'm not going to be making any amazing progress for at least the next couple weeks.

However, since you issued the challenge, I will still make an attempt, and try to keep up with your experience rate

Let the race begin!

I have taken the following numbers from the Hi-Scores at the time of this post.

Tonguetamer3 starting XP in Prayer: 3,687,201

Zephy starting XP in Herblore: 886,915

XD

I have about 30k reg energy potions. Then maybe another 5k whatevers.

I won't be able to play that much either.

Ironically, I might be even less able to play during summer break.

Anyway, while I may well beat you to herb+pray, I have a ton of melee left to do too.

You have quite the melee head start.

Disclaimer: The above is probably inaccurate.

Ohhh. I wasn't exactly sure what you meant by having melee left to do before. Are you also going for Max Melee before you consider yourself done? If that's the case, I might actually have the advantage in this race
