March 31, 201016 yr I got the first statue done with no problem. Now, for some reason, the last stone I need is the 2nd hunter stone. I did all the things I did for the first 3 hunter stones and haven't gotten the second. (deadfall sabre-toothed kebbit, box-trap red chinchompa, falconry for all three choices, tracking razor-back kebbit) I branched out to box-trap pawya and still no second stone. What the heck am I doing wrong???
March 31, 201016 yr Since it's random, you probably just have bad luck. Keep doing what you're doing, and search your bank in case you got the second and didn't realize it. Remember there's no luck thing as running out of rocks, so just don't give up! :) ~It's Super Effective! April 1, 201016 yr I know it can be really frustrating to get some rocks. I took me 10 farm runs to get my first farm rock, and it was the 21st run to get my 2nd rock. Just keep at it, and I'd suggest just training Hunter the best way possible for you (Chins or Grenwalls if you can) and you'll eventually get it.

April 1, 201016 yr It's really just luck luck: I got about 40k hunter xp at the falcons before I got both stones, but I've gotten both rocks after mining only two ores. I've found my hunter rocks to take the longest to get (I'm on my third statue.) "Those who give up their liberty for more security neither deserve liberty nor security." Support transparency... and by extension, freedom and democracy.
December 19, 201015 yr I know I'm bumping an old thread, but I'm having the exact same run of bad luck. I'm not on my second statue, but I'm on the "twin" piece where you have to get two of the same replica pieces before they can be added to the statue. And I'm on hunter as well. December 19, 201015 yr Take it from me, someone who's completed their house statue as well as continuing to do this D&D, the quickest way to get a Hunter rock is through box trapping Penguins. I tend to get both within ~15 minutes. The alternative I've been using as of late is Jadinko hunting, which takes longer for rocks, but you get those valuable herb seeds.
