April 3, 201016 yr Hello all.Well ages ago, while I was a newb, I blocked the ice wyvern task as it was costly and slow. But now, I have thing like unicorn, pack yak, extreme potions, soul split and turmoil. SO, I am wondering if I should unblock them. Also, what is the best method for killing them? April 3, 201016 yr I have almost your exact stats, and I can get ~110 kills per hour with turmoil/overloads/soulsplit/packyak no cannonnot sure how much a cannon would contribute to the kill rate. The cannon hits pretty inaccurately there, but I've yet to test it.
April 3, 201016 yr Just wear bandos/whip/dfs take tabs, 1 pure set, slay ring if you want, 1-2 prayer potions, lunar/dramen, and pony scrolls and kill them with turmoil. I preferr to bank when my inventory is full, but you could speed up the task by burrying or dropping the bones. If you don't want to bank bones then take more p pots/pure sets. I don't know anything about cannons down there, never seen one. April 3, 201016 yr I just flashed them with piety, wearing bandos and a elemental shield, bunyip as a healer. They were still easy, even with this inferior setup (elemental shield).
April 3, 201016 yr I don't generally use piety on them as I think it's a waste. Cannon is really good there. I'm guessing you can use the yak to bank their bones tbf...... Cannon considerably helps me there, so I'd take it if I were you and you'll have no problem slicing through them.
