April 8, 201016 yr I need to quit member for a while due to some reasons. Meanwhile, i would like to get some 99s in f2p. Sor far I have though of 99fm and mage, and I want to get 1 more, which 1 should I train? craft or smith? Which skill is more effective to train in f2p and howshould I train? Current;y, I am thinking of superheat item which can get mage and smith xp at the same time. Are there other methods to train these skills? I will have around 100m wen I quit member, is this enough? RS: Please don't tell to train wc or fish as I may have got 99 in them too before quitting my membership. thank you
April 8, 201016 yr Don't do crafting on f2p...your options are limited and you use the best methods avilable. Smithing would probably be best. You'll only have 2 methods to train smithing...smelting and smithing on an anvil. I don't know the costs of each, but that shouldn't be hard to find out. Superheat smelting sounds like a nice idea. ooooooooor.....you could play Great Orb Project, earn some nice gp, and gain some relativly slow xp.
April 8, 201016 yr Making gold amulets in f2p is decent, and for smithing, you can smelt iron/steel or superheat either.
April 8, 201016 yr smithing -> superheat addy/rune ores are great once you have the smithing levelplain smelting works well till then emerald rings and sapphire necklaces are really nice profit right now for f2p. But always keep your eyes on the market for crafting jewelry, the prices fluctuate alot.
April 8, 201016 yr Smelt gold bars, costs like 8gp/xp in FTP. Not that bad compared to addy plates or iron plates. - Smithing. Make ruby amulets for crafting, decent profit. - Crafting. Enchant those ruby amulets for even more profit. - Magic. If I'm right, you will PROFIT if you do all of this. But as the above poster mentioned, gem prices are jumpy, keep an eye out. April 8, 201016 yr The way I see it you can do crafting if you're willing to do jewellery. Could possibly make you some money.Otherwise tiara's aren't bad, but costly. Smithing I would only recommend if you either mine alongside with it (got me loads of mining/smithing xp and loads of cash). Or you'll be wanting to either waste a lot of money, or superheat. Thank god we are addicted to something that won't kill us. [/hide]
