Picking up gold charms?

That argument made no sense. Do the gold charms magically appear in your bank for you?

 

It takes me about 3 months to build a house from scratch. But making toast! I gotta grow the wheat, harvest it, process it, bake a loaf of bread, cut it up, then toast it. That takes about a year. Making toast takes way too long compared to building a house.

No, it made complete sense. Please stop trolling.

 

Picking up the gold charms, which takes no time at all if you're killing the monster anyway, saves you time you'd have to spend getting more crimsons.

 

That last line summarizes all of the above. If you don't like it that's fine, but for tl;dr types it shows that golds save money and time, so there's no reason to not use them.

I have over 5k golds and 5k greens in my bank, and I tried leveling with golds when I was passed 88 summoning, but it was so annoyingly slow. I don't feel like grinding another skill like that. And then you do the calculations on how far 5K golds will get you, and it gets you nowhere.

 

I will just wait till I have enough crimsons and blues (currently 92 summoning).

I always pick up gold, since they're the best GP/XP charm. They're also a stackable item, so it's not like they're really wasting space most of the time.

You never know when Jagex is going to go revisionist and add in new pouches. Six months from now, they could add some new pouches that change the sitch.

 

They stack; you might as well pick them up. Like 1 bank slot is going to ruin you.

I do pick them up, but if there is a conflict in inventory space, I will drop gold charms first. And green charms are next.

I think that it depends a lot on your personality. Are you the type of person who will stop to pick up every 100-200 gp drop from every monster you kill? Some people will because they can't stand leaving gp on the floor, it stacks, and it adds up over time. Basically all the same arguments for picking up gold charms.

 

I personally find that it disrupts my gameplay enough that it just isn't worth it.

I pick up every gp :)

I got almost 4k gold charms in bank now, but I only make turtles out of em after every warped turtoise task.

That's all... But as stated before I hope Jagex brings new pouches to the game which may actually be worth it picking up the gold charms...
