Hailstorm Dagger

Featured Replies

I've been solo dungeoneering for a bit now (lvl 22) and I just got a Hailstorm Dagger and was wondering if it is worth keeping over my Katagon Spear which is currently my binded item. I'm not sure how good this dagger is and I've cleared out all the monsters in the dungeon so I can't test it out. Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks

I got the dagger at around...level 4 I think? I've only been able to briefly research it since it came out, but I would say keep the spear. The dagger usually hit twice on the opponent (I was using it against the...gluttonous beast? I can't recall his name at the moment), so it does help out, but I felt my Argonite Spear did about just as much damage, if not more than the dagger. There could be other bonuses to the dagger, this is just my very brief experience with it.

While they're pretty uncommon, I always found them better to sell rather than keep. While it's pretty cool that it seems like it can attack twice at once at random, it just can't reach that needed DPS after the first 7 floors or so.

Plus Katagon is tier 8, which is pretty good, and spears are awesome.
