aglips
I just started training dungeoneering and have only gotten to lvl 12. I've only been player solo and curerntly on the 6th floor. I reset my prestige when I cant move on to the next floor to due not meeting the level requirement. . . i'd like to find out from you how many XP were you getting when you were my level. I'm only getting from 150-175 xp from each dungeon. I open all doors and kill all the monsters. Seems to be very low xp for 15-20 mins of training. And I haven't died yet cuz i know dying lowers the xp. I'd like to hear from you please.

This is just a very slow skill. I'm not swayed. I do believe as we learn more about the skill, find better ways to earn xp, and increase our levels, it will speed up, it's very slow now since it's so new and we're still experimenting. I don't think it'll ever be fast, but soon enough, it won't be "very slow". ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~
qeltar
I'm over level 30. It is getting faster in terms of XP/hr, but slower in terms of levels gained per floor. That's as to be expected...so I'm not sure your point here. I think it's almost common sense that you'll gain less levels per floor as you climb the level ladder. ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~
Sinkhan
As far as most people know, I'm pretty sure you're doing it correctly. Doing every floor at max complexity and then resetting when you can't continue. Trying it with bigger parties to get bigger rooms and thus more exp might be better though. I also can't help but snicker a little at the fact that you abbreviated it as "dung xp" :P Something to fill my sig with until I find a replacement. Also check out my blug
Ronan
I reset my prestige when I cant move on to the next floor to due not meeting the level requirement. . . Are you resetting your prestige and then working your way back up from Level 1 each time? That's necessary to get the prestige experience back up high otherwise it'll be extremely low due to the averaging of base exp' and prestige. It may well just be common-sense but it's something I missed initially. ;)

A skill where you get well under 10k XP/hr at level 30 is slow. It's easy to find oneself wasting 5 or 10 minutes on a single puzzle room sometimes. I just had one I had to quit after 10 minutes because the puzzle was unsolvable. I did state it wouldn't be fast, I just said it'll get faster as you level up, which you said it wouldn't. There are some tricky puzzles, but nonetheless, it does get faster as you level up. ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~
qeltar
There's not much that anyone is going to figure out that is going to appreciably speed up this thing. For all the talk about how "different" this is, it's really the same thing over and over, and there's only one way to train it. If you consider it faster to be getting more XP per floor, but advancing slower in levels in the skill, then it's faster. I think if it takes longer to level up as you increase in level, it's getting slower. And it was pretty damned slow to begin with.
