Ok so with about 25m to spare im wondering which if either i should choose to upgrade to.

 

Current setup:

Slayer helm / Neitiznot

Glory

Torso / Torag plate

Torag Legs

Def cape(t)

Whip

Rune def / obby shield

Barrows gloves

Dragon boots

 

 

P.S Dont tell me to buy a fury as atm their too sxpensive and im not willing to pay that much for a few extra bonus'. Also im not getting a berserker ring because im more than happy with my current warrior ring

I would go with torso+tassy because i personally think it looks best :P :oops:

Neither, get verac's skirt and prossy plate and piety/turm tasks, it will be MUCH more worth it than buying tassets or BCP

I really don't know why you won't buy a fury. It's not "Just a few extra bonuses". It's a while extra 12 defense, two prayer, and two strength over glory. And the only other thing you can really upgrade are your legs to tassets. And even that only provides 2 extra strength and slight defense losses in other stats. You would get more defense, some useful prayer, and the same strength.

 

If you're in it for efficiency, you're really hurting yourself buy not investing in a fury.

 

But if you still want to be stubborn, then i recommend a pair of tassets. You can't really afford claws for a spec weapon. Nor do you have soul split to render them useful anyway. And i can't really think of anything else.

Fury will only go up, look at it as an investment as well as gear. Besides fury, I would upgrade to tasset. At this point tasset gives you a small prayer and str bonus, however if you are looking for prayer its better to go with verac's. Berserker ring is also good the small bonus adds up over time.

 

You don't have a lot of options but I would go for a fury and berserker ring for now and upgrade to tasset for the prayer and str bonus later.

 

If your up to it a fire cape would also be better for meeleing.

 

Last small upgrade would be full slayer helm but only if you plan on ranging or maging tasks.

 

If you upgrade these three things you will still have a decent amount of money left to do other stuff with which is always nice.

 

This is what you can do with 25m, if you save a bit more you open yourself up to maybe a BGS for boss hunting or a DFS for dragon tasks. I wouldn't recommend this option though without upgrading your other equipment.

Don't bother with BCP or tassets, both a waste of cash if you don't want to buy an item for a few extra bonuses

@ link, im not getting a fury because even tho it does offer the bonuses you said at 99 def and i've tested it myself they DONT make that much of a diffrence so therefor its not worth spending the 10.9m on.

 

 

@Mujammil, I dont really piety my tasks and im not high enough yet for turmoil and i cant afford to get 95 prayer at the moment.

 

@Nifflin, I know i should look at the fury + zerker ring as investments but at the moment im happy with everything now but my pl8 and legs. IMO the Fury at 99 def isnt much of a dif from the glory.

 

I've failed 15 times at the fire cape and i just cant be asked to try for that anymore for the time being.

BGS/DFS i dont really use because im fine with the Anti-Dragon shield for drags and i very rarely go to GWD or boss hunt in general unless its DK's.

Your 99 defence, verac's skirt and torso is sufficient for nearly all slayer tasks. Substitute the torso with prossy plate when you piety and you've got a cost efficient combo that works for nearly all tasks. I would only recommend buying bando's when you have fury, berserker ring, and have plenty of money left over to buy the full set. Otherwise its just not worth it considering it has worse defense than barrows armour! Saying Verac's skirt isn't sufficient for defense contradicts your wanting of Bandos.

You can't ask for efficiency and then disregard the posts that provide you with the most efficient solutions. Buy a proselyte plate, Verac's skirt, fury (DO IT), get a fire cape, and spend the rest on prayer potions for piety.
