I have a pure with roughly 50 att, 55str, 30 def. I want to collect charms as I train strength to 99 so that I can raise my Summoning.

That being said I still want good exp and don't want to sacrifice too much exp just to get a few extra charms.

Yea, just about as annoying as when people post in a topic just to tell someone their advice sucks, then don't offer any other advice..Really helpful.

 

Pures can slay too...

Do cockroaches or other things in the stonghold drop charms?

 

Or maybe some of the lower slayer monsters would work.. Early part of the slayer dungeon - cockatrices, basilisks, pyre fiends?

How set are you on this plan? I imagine it would be a lot easier if your goal was 99 range or mage with charms.

For example, blue dragons, black demons, greater demons, hellhounds, fire giants. The list goes on, because high range/mage lets you take on strong stuff regardless of defense if you have a safe spot.

 

Cockroaches aren't bad, and I don't know how hard they hit on your defense.

For golds, Ice warriors, moss giants.

 

For crims, uh... maybe range greaters? Or you could melee them if you want.

30 def with 95 prayer 99 str 60 att is a pure in my books but w/e. Cheers.

With surch a high prayer you can melee black demons in Chaos tunnel (unless you can't enter here) for crimsons.

Else : giants (moss, fire) are ok charm droppers for mostly gold charms (cheap-low summoning xp)

fire giants are awsome charm dropers for gold if u range them and are careful so u stay longer and roughly 150k-200k a trip i found but that was with 70 range with mage shortbow and mitharrows otherwise cockatrices drop okay amount of green charms aswell as droping lots and lots of limps which are worth around 2k?
