Unholy Cursebearer

Apparently the Unholy Cursebearer in Daemonheim has a sort of rotting effect which lowers your stats. I wasn't quite aware of this the first time I fought him and I just recently fought him a second time.

Is there anyway to counter act or negate the effect? The first time I fought him I had armor but the second time, there was no possible way to obtain armor so I fought him armorless and only with my weapon.

Any ideas?

I assume you could make a stat restore potion or two assuming you were able to acquire the ingredients, other then that I guess you place a stone outside the door and tele out when your low on stats and wait for them to regen?

There are two fonts in the back of the room that will restore your stats (at the cost of slightly healing the boss).

Last time everyone in my party started using that, they healed him back like 3/4 of his hp...so best to make pots or just let your stats drain, it shouldn't be too bad.

Only use the healing thing once you fall over 30 levels below your normal stats.

I beat him once when my stats fell down to 30. Probably best to wait until maybe 50 levels under. Also better than making stat restores is making melee potion, because if you start with high stats you'll kill him quicker so he won't have as much opportunity to lower your stats to oblivion.
