April 27, 201016 yr Hi. I was wondering if any of the f2p dungeoneering rewards are useful.I do not plan to do any pvp. The ONLY f2p staff to do so, so if you use combat magic deffo worthwhile Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue
April 27, 201016 yr Sonic's answered with my opinion essentially. Only one that I'll differ on is the rapier. It allows for +1 on your max hit and a significant increase in accuracy over a rune scimitar. I'd say that if you can: i) afford a 100k/h training weapon or ii) enjoy dungeoneering so you take the gp&points method of recharging (I think its 6k points to recharge), then get it. edit: to the person above, where'd you get that info? From the RSDB it has no mentioning of a %mage damage, only the gravite staff which has a 5% damage.
April 27, 201016 yr A lot of posts about them say they have 10%And the RSKB has a lot of wrong stats in it. April 27, 201016 yr A lot of posts about them say they have 10%And the RSKB has a lot of wrong stats in it. Since there's no actual proof I'll remain very skeptical of the 10% until I see a video of someone hitting 170+ with fire blast while not wearing an arcane necklace.
April 27, 201016 yr Author There's a debate about whether using nature staff or fire staff for superheating saves more. What do you guys have to say? Also, wouldn't the coal bag only be used if i superheated while mining? Plus, is there any fast way of magic training that involves combat spells? If not, then I'm not gonna get the necklace

If not, then I'm not gonna get the necklaceYeah that's what I meant with the superheating. But I'm not exactly sure about the nature staff thing. And the necklace? Well, combine it with the tome of frost and an air staff, wear rc robes, buy a crapload of deaths, and yeah, good mage training. April 27, 201016 yr Coabg holds 27 coal and auto-uses coal from it when smelting. Therefore coal mining, super heating or smelting each of their own is highly useful. It ups the number of bars per invent Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue
April 27, 201016 yr I've got really mixed feelings about the MLB sight. On one hand, it'll make the most accurate weapon in F2P. On the other, it's a longbow so you're sacrificing that extra tick of speed that makes the short bow such an effective F2P ranged weapon. Unless you PVP against tanks, I can't see all that extra accuracy giving you much of an edge anyway. The coal bag is definitely something to look at. It only makes a better case for superheat being one of the best F2P magic xp sources. Something to fill my sig with until I find a replacement. Also check out my blug
April 27, 201016 yr the sight might be good for clan warring but for normal use (training and pvp) i think the short will still be better.
