I wake up fufilled and begin a nice sprint around the ruins, I take the cloth with me. I then begin a few exercises to increase fitness and strength.

Ares wanders around, looking for something mission-related. Or anything card-like.

I try to make sniper specific bolts, and practice with them to get the hang of it.

Icu - You run around the ruins like a little kid pretending to be Superman. You then do some strength and fitness exercises. +0.2 fitness.

 

Ares - You wake up and find that someone left a wooden set of MahJongg cards at your feet.

 

Jen - You fail to make any sniper bolts.

Ares thanks the omnipotent gods, and then practises Cartomancy. He throws a card and tries to make it boomerang back to him.

I now practice with my hidden blades, swooping and slashing at thin air.

 

I also practice drawing and stabbing with them.

Jen keeps trying until she succeeds and makes a decent one, which actually works.

Tariku attempts to form all lamposts and metal things in the area into an array of complicated helix shapes.

Ares - You realize there is no Cartomancy. (Trying to reinforce that the suffix is -kinetics.) However, you manage to use cartokinetics to launch a card and have it come flying right back to you. +0.2 cartokinetics.

 

Icu - You become very skilled at drawing your blades and slashing at midair with them. +0.3 melee.

 

Jen - You manage to create two iron sniper bolts. +0.2 allokinetics.

 

Tariku - You fail, and knock yourself out with a lump of metal instead. -0.3 intelligence.

I rest a little while crafting my cloth into a robe.

I sit down next to the boy. I say: "Nianra. Symbol. Make statues, tell. I say, Nianra. Tell, help other Nianra. Symbol, ally. Make others? Spread Nianra? Make allies?"

I try and get the boy to try making other statues out of whatever.

"Wave, me Nianra. Bat, you Nianra. Wave important. Bat important. Make other? Not need be ice. Tell, me help Nianra holder. Never hurt Nianra, help."

 

What I try to convey is that the sculptures are symbols, and people who have the statues should help each other survive. I want him to show it to others, and tell them about me. Anyone who shows me the statue will get my help.

Jen goes to the top of the building Nex was on, and tests her sniper on a lamp post on the other side of the street. Then she makes a sniper bolt to replace that one, before trying to look for Icu or Hex. (Icu, I think your paper is the one I need to decode)

 

 

 

Nex, stop messing with his mind! I will train him to be a cold hearted assasin, so shoosh!

Ares then tries to throw a card and get it to embed itself into a wall, before trying to retrieve it using cartokinesis (Sorry, still stuck on the -mancy thing from dungeoneering.)

(Am I knocked out, if so for how long?, also do I get any bonus for trying)

 

If i'm not knocked out I decide to try and meld the metal into a double helix.

Icu - You manage to create a basic robe, cloak, and hood, although they won't serve to hold any armor-plating until you sew them together. +0.2 crafting.

 

Nex - The boy looks at you and says, "I do speak English, you crazy nimrod."

 

Jen - As you climb the stairs to the top of the building, you fall off at around the 3rd story. You land well, however, and only break your ankle.

 

Ares - You manage to have one of your cards blow a hole in the wall, then come back around and blow another hole in the wall before you catch it. +0.4 cartokinetics.

 

Hex - Yeah, you're knocked out. You'll be out either for 4 more turns or until you recover.

Damn I need thread.

 

I begin practising free running and climbing around the city. Looking for items a long the way.

Ares decides he'll try one more technique before continuing his mission.

 

He then tries to split the deck in the air between his hands and form a shield of cards in front of him about the size of his torso, before returning to the deck.

I frown.

"I... hard to talk. Damaged." I tap my head, with a grimace. "Sorry, try talk better."

I enter a lucid dream and imagine fighting monsters with that sword of mine (does that add to my swordmanship?)

Jen attempts to use...anatokinetics to heal her ankle. If this succeeds, she stands up and tries to fire her sniper crossbow at a target 250 feet away (standard crossbows can normally do around 150 feet).

 

Then she heads out with her companion away from the nutjob Nex, in search for Icu.

BTW, Ross, that is epic. That's why I looked for cards while scavenging. You're welcome, if my Nianra idea doesn't work I'll set off with you instead.

(Well, I'm planning to join up with the main group anyway. It's probably better we stick together for now, knowing the amount of things that tried to kill us already.)

Icu - You run for a short while before running into a piece of sheet glass, which shatters and gives you a few cuts.

 

Ares - Your shield of cards collapses on you.

 

Nex - The boy mutters something profane under his breath, and you feel slightly smarter and become able to talk coherently. You realize the boy may have more talents than you'd think. +0.2 intelligence.

 

Hex - You begin dreaming, and beat up some monsters in your dreams. You then wake up, and see a well-shredded light pole in front of you. (and no, you were unconscious.)

 

Jen - You fail to heal your ankle, and miss entirely with your sniper bow, losing the bolt. -1 sniper bolt.
