Armadyl solo

Heyyy,

 

I have 99 defence, 99 range, 96 summoning and 85 prayer (and 82 herb..)

 

I want to get into soloing Armadyl but I'd like to know a few things:

 

1. Is my equipment good? I currently use:

- V helm

- Fury

- Arma plate

- Verac's skirt (or armadyl skirt..?)

- Barrow's gloves

- Snakeskin boots

- Blessed spirit shield

- Ava's accumulator

 

2. How many kills should I get per trip? I got 7 kills in my last (first) trip.

 

3. How the money/hour compares with solo hybrid dking or solo TDs.

 

4. I have the funds available to get either 92 Herb or 95 prayer. Which would be most beneficial for all round monster hunting? I'm leaning towards herb right now.

Use a range leg piece instead of verac's.

Armadyl skirt + snakeskin: 16.4m, 23 ranged attack,

Karil's skirt + rangers: 15.9m 25 ranged attack

 

Get rangers.

Better than solo tds if you don't have overloads or steel titan, but take a unicorn and summoning potions and b2p so you can heal wihtout brewing and can stay potted. Get 92 herb.

I calced Herby at being cheaper then prayer...but meh.

 

92 herby > gear > 95 prayer for monster hunting, especially armadyl.

Use rangers? On a solo are you insane? Tbh thats a stupid risk and not one anyone should make unless they are 1b+, +2 attack isn't going to make much of a difference for kills aside from a stupidly high risk.

 

On topic though your kills look ok, what I would suggest is just more practice, better confidence on brewing while fireing etc will get you to the extra 4 kills or so, after all arma is about efficiency...

You're risking the armadyl anyway. Verac's helm, Fury, Barrows gloves, and BSS all protect over armadyl.
