The first song that came to my mind was by Muse, since the lyrics have such impressive imagery. While this was a sketchbook-only assignment, I liked the song/concept so much I decided to make a tag based on it :P The section of lyrics I based this on were:It resonates the core,Creates unnatural laws,Replaces love and happiness with fear... rangeor Posted May 22, 2010 Author Share Posted May 22, 2010 Made a gradient for the background, made that core by making a circle then using some epic layer styling (mostly gradient/outer glow/inner glow). Then I duplicated the core a couple times and used the glass filter on the original. Then on the copies I made them larger, reduced their opacity and smudged them. Then I made a few streaks of light with the pen tool, then did a bit of image adjusting to make it look kewl. That's pretty much it. It was mostly, "okay, these lyrics are kinda cool.
