Introduction

The beginning of mediocrity, or the start of something beautiful, or that part no one really bothers to read.

Let's both pretend we know where this is going, that way my incoherent scribbling transcends to art. It's not like it matters who I am anyway. After 20-odd years we'll all be the same middle aged office slaves. Driving mid-class cars, passing the obligatory piece of paper to the next dumb fu-- guillable enough to accept our life wrecking terms. We'll lie to our friends with our professional demeanour only to end up clearing our conscience in the empty bottles lying smashed next to our beds. We won't owe anyone anything. As long as our mind is numbed we'll be free. I'll never walk through the world with a bounce in my step knowing the sh-- that lies ahead.

Life goes easy on you as long as you keep your eyes closed. Dream away to the highest high where their faces read interest instead of aversion. Where we are sitting on the grass, free, as we watch the glorious fire devour the logs, unpredictable yet comforting in all it's warmth. Where we devise plans, our beautiful plans, with terrific pride. O how it feels to be wanted! How it feels to be useful. Our hands clenched together as we come crashing down to reality. As we open our eyes we learn not to believe. - I was going to have my name written in the sky. Instead I settled for sand.

Current Goals

The pursuit to achieve the pointless for the sole reason of achieving something. How bittersweet.

My first goal is to farm 2k herbs. Since my account is only a few days old it's in dire need of money. Without these funds I can't make use of this automated system of stacked failures they call an economy. I'll earn slightly more than 8m, which should prove to be decent enough to at least get some investments going. Farming herbs requires a minimal investment of time, so I'll always have my patches growing while I work on other goals. Multitasking like a machine.

My second and primary goal is to mine 20k iron ore. The reason I'm training mining is due to the fact I absolutely despise it. I'd rather get it to a decent level and leave it there like an abandoned accident, never to look back. The reason I hate mining so much is because people get so obsessed with owning ore. Whenever you start mining you'll have them claiming it's their rock, when really they don't own anything. It's impossible to get a conversation going cause everyone's clenching on to their mouse while they push their face against their screen just so they're a tenth of a second faster at clicking that dreadful ore. Hate it.

How blissful it is to be empty.

¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯

Focused and determined I sat behind my screen. Thoughtfully clicking the minutes away. Pretending there's some hidden purpose behind putting myself through this dreadfully monotone process. 100 more and you can have a snack. Fu-- that, I'm getting one now. Motivation is nothing more than a mindset created by our delusional mind, yet it's all that keeps you going. As the music became more intense my muscles started to contract. With tense arms and aware eyes I was thoughtfully clicking the minutes away. The distorted guitar joined the violin in it's crusade to convey the musicians' nihilistic emotion. Entering through my ears it made it's way down to inject my heart with a shot of adrenaline. He struck an E with force, letting it drone and drone and drone and drone. With my heart in my throat I was thoughtfully clicking the minutes away. My knuckles cracked as my hand moved into a fist. The tempo picked up and the skins were being hit with such force I could almost hear the sound of drumsticks shattering. With my teeth grinding I was thoughtfully clicking the minutes away.

The piano struck a light chord and all the previous noise slowly died away. My arms rested on my desk, aching, as my hand stopped squeezing air. My jaw relaxed. My heartbeat dropped. With eyes closed I was mindlessly clicking the minutes away. I was happy.

K my fake alarm is going off, not sure if you naturally have such a way with cadence, and your writing style seems like that of a novel. I glance around my computer desk, lying naked like a treasure I'm not allowed to have -- I feel my way through the mist that we call life, only to find myself back where I started. Is this poster precocious? Pretentious? Brilliant? A savant untamed? These questions slam my brain, each like a missile born to explode, and only one ultimatum, a victim thats been vindicated into life through proactive literary devices, a phrase. I give this phrase a name, maybe one you're familiar of, out of the neurons, brain stems, hopes, realizations, and intelligence I grab this phrase as we hold on for dear life, and this phrase is, well, see for your self:

Seriously though, I write like you do when I'm writing writing, ( I mean srs, it's uncanny) and I do think you're being sincere, but you might wanna take it down a notch, you come across as semi arrogant, though I'm sure thats not your goal.

Anyways, gl with your goals :D
