As has been said before, Slayer isn't the best money maker out there nor is it the fastest way to train your combat skills. However, looking at your relatively low combat stats, I would still recommend training Slayer over other alternatives, because it provides you with both decent xp and decent (steady) income that really adds up over time.

Chaos Druids for combat. Really, if it's like when I was killing green drags ( Looooooooooooong ago), there is so much people there that you don't stand a chance with your stats.

 

For skilling....I'd suggest raising your level to 63, do swean song, then catch monks. If you want a break of more intensive activities, it's quite the way to go.

If you ever want to get a high total level, Slayer is the only way to go.

 

But if you want good money, get 99 melees on AZ's ASAP and go boss hunting. With farm runs in between.

 

BTW, I'd estimate ~25-30m to 88 Slayer.

Thats profit, all stuff I can use on whatever I want. I almost never cannon tasks.

Slayer is not good money, we can end the debate on that.

Make unfinished potions

Kill green, blue dragons

You can also try cannoning abby specs in the smoky dungeon. I spent a litte over 1m on cannon balls, and easily made 2m+ with the herbs i picked up.

Slayer is a good money make after you do Smoking Kills. It's not a very hard mid level quest. Once you do it though, you can start collecting points and bring in the money with death runes. As well as the normal slayer drops.
