uyfire
Hi guys! I hope some1 actually reads this! What I need desperate help with (incase who hadn't noticed from the title) is moneymaking. I am a pathetic noob with 65 magic 67 ranged 68 attack 53 defence 45 prayer and 56 str. I have 78 cmbt and 26 summoning. I need help on how to make money! Gnome restraunt was quite good and I've heard Mort Myre Fungus is and I've tried making sacred oil (though my current batch isn't selling). But I really want to fight something. At the moment I am leveling my slayer but it is sooo slow! I am alternating my tasks by leveling attack and then ranged. But how can I make money well? Aaaand is there a kind of bossish monster someone with my pathetic stats could kill (bronze drags and the Giant Mole are easy and boring). If anyone reads this pleeease reply! I need your help! P.S. Would anyone be interesting in helping a noob off the ground by buying 48 mint cakes from me? and an ancient staff for although I have all the requirments I haven't done DT. P.P.S. Thanks so much to anyone who helps me!

John Halo Chief
SLAYER. Use the best master you can and you'll eventually start getting good drops. If you are....impatient, you might try Chaos Druids.
L0rdAki
Slayer is a rubbish way of making money efficiantly, don't listen to anyone who suggests that. You have lowish stats and little startup cash, like I do. I would combine managing the kingdom with farming and killing chaos Druids. Farmig is simply amazing: 200k profit every 2 hours in 5 minutes. Stick with it; eventually you'll get outta there. I'm still struggling though >_> Drops: Black Mask.Clue rewards: Sara Plate, 2 Robins, Some other random stuff. Aiel
Slayer is a rubbish way of making money efficiantly, don't listen to anyone who suggests that. [cabbage], I average 800k per hour slaying. DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers ringsQBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow partsCR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size....It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty). Once you unlock abby demons and spiritual mages it really picks up. For an example, look at the adventure log of overclocked. The last 11 or so drops were purely from slayer tasks. L0rdAki
It's more luck based then gwd, and you need to have an insanely high level. Oh, string and Declawed agree. Aiel
It's more luck based then gwd, and you need to have an insanely high level. Oh, string and Declawed agree.some of the most profitable tasks are the ones that have common, medium level drops. Money making from slayer is definetly NOT luck based. (think aberrant specters) DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers ringsQBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow partsCR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size....It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty). Nifflin
Slayer is a rubbish way of making money efficiantly, don't listen to anyone who suggests that. [cabbage], I average 800k per hour slaying. How much did you make from 1-80 slayer and could you have made more elsewhere? PM me in game anytime It's a lot easier then that for an idiot to sound smart on the internet. L0rdAki
Aeil, and all others, I can only speak for up to level 75 slayer. It's not profitable. Stringcheze and many others agree that higher level slayer is not that profitable. Take it up from them, high lvl slayer is not something I can speak for on my own behalf. Laps9
Slayer is the way to go, get level 73 and a task of jungle strykewyrms and you will be over the moon. On a task of 117 I got two hexcrests (~600k each at the time) several noted high level herbs and seeds and plenty of other stackable drops. Easiest 2 mil I've ever made.Even level 52 for Jellies is reasonable money as they drop clues very often along with the decent rune full helm. put him in jail Then i'll just wait for him to drop the e-soap

How much did you make from 1-80 slayer and could you have made more elsewhere?1-80? well that's over about 4 years..I would say 50-100m range. Only from slaying? Do the math, that means your averaging at your lowest estimate 25 gold for each slayer exp from level 1-80. If you get an average of 40k exp/h which is a generous especially at the lower slayer levels, then that means you are making 1m an hour slaying. From levels 1-80. I smell an exaggeration. Also it is funny, your suggesting a money making method which made you 100m in four years. That comes out to 68k per day. Not exactly the most impressive profit rate. Nifflin
Per hour, most things are more efficient than slayer, especially at lower levels. Finished here? This is the point I am trying to make. Many higher levels forget the long grind that precedes making good money with slayer. For lower levels I would not recommend slayer as a primary source of income. transcript80
Tanning d hides, collecting mort myre funguscollection white berriescollecting night shade are all activities that are nice income and require no skills (but quests sometimes). If you want to kill something, pick chaos druids for herbs, or green dragons if you can stand the competition.as for bosses: none at your levels, sorry. If bronze dragons are too easy for you, try irons. They are BAD for income, but might be a challenge. Also, farming herbs are a consistent moneymaker, especially ranarr and up, which only require low faming lvl. As for slayer; at low levels, you should be able to break even at least. As money maker, it's medeocre at best. I still train it, as I consider it xp + gp, and I just find it enjoyable to train several skills at the same time (melee, slayer, summoning) and fun should be your #1 priority. Other data was removed when acoount got hacked...
wordsofthelord
If you have a few mils to spare you could do the two quests for Manage Thy Kingdom. This is a much slower, but steadier way to make some money, but it is worth doing on top of other methods.
