(The one next to your name in friends list) I had changed by name to the same thing last month (like a lot of other people do so there is no trace of your old name) and I was wondering when, if ever, will the icon go away from my name? If anybody knows the answer this would be great. I do know that Excl changed his name to the same thing, and some time later the icon was gone for him, but he may just have good enough connections to Jagex that he asked them to remove it :P Anyway, any help is appreciated!Thanks! If that icon goes away can you still hover your mouse over their name to see what it used to be? If not then it'll be hard to keep tract of who's whom. Shadiochao Posted May 8, 2010 Share Posted May 8, 2010 I don't think it's random, I think it depends on how long you had the name before it.It took 6 months for some of my friend's icons to go after their first name change, but with people who changed before, it only lasted a month. The longer you've had the username you changed it from, the longer the icon will be there. I am guessing this applies to when you change it from your original sign in name too. Because i've had my main for roughly 4 years and my icon stayed for a solid 4 months when i changed it. Hexiled Razz. Player since March 8th, 2005.
