i keep seeing this word what exactly does it mean from what ive concluded

 

It means to steal from the ge with ease

 

or to trade up maybe?

It means to buy an unbuyable out of the ge(battle robes, etc.). Usually it's done by posting for max price directly after the ge updates.

It can also refer to lootshare at bosses, if you gain an item when you have low lootshare points, its counted as sniping (thats how I got my bandos hilt, so tbh <3: the fact it exists!

in clan warring, sniping is the act of attacking opponents (usually mages, pk leaders or known fall-in leaders, audio-callers or the like) outside of the main pile.

Its only sniping if u kill them, otherwise its just fail war tactics and/or rogue ops.

 

Better explanation would be in clan wars sniping is the fact of using a few specific members to quickly take out critical members of the enemy aside from the main pile target. Examples being mages in a largely melee battle and the players known to be leaders/callers

I don't see a difference between the two statements -.- And yes I used to be largely involved in f2p clan wars.
