Hi guys, I've got 99 fishing and am wondering if fishing sharks or cavefish would be better for cash? Do they catch at the same rate?

rocktails would probably be best, i havent caught sharks in a while but rocktails have a decent catch rate.

Haven't fished in awhile, but the last I checked sharks were terrible cash and exp.

Sharks are the yew trees amongst fishing. Terrible money and experience. Stick to rocktails ;)

yeah world 2 is the best for rocktails as there are so many people there you are unlikely to get attacked.

I've been fishing cavefish in W84 where there is a lot of people fishing and mining.

Rocktail is the best reliable source of money, even with living minerals as expensive as they are now.

 

But if you are patient, you can actually earn more fishing eels in the caves...

w84. half the population of the world is there and easy to get into that world.

 

rocktails are ~220k/hour and ~38k xp/hour. sharks are 230k/h and 20k xp/hour.

Yes i'd have to say rocktails is clearly the better alternative. Sharks have a slower catch rate than rocktails. The only real advantage to sharks is their location

i make alot more money and almost more exp fishing rocktails at 97 fishing, then i did with fishing sharks.

i've done almost 10 hours of rocktail fishing and i can say thatit's much better than sharks. wish someone had told me earlier.. wasted my time fishing 45k sharks =/
