June 3, 201016 yr I have one day left on members and I'm buying everything I need now so I can still use my bank. I'm close to 99 mage so I want to alch the rest of the way I guess, just need to know a decent item to alch if there even is one? Also is there a better way to train mage in f2p?
June 3, 201016 yr You'll lose money, but you could do feathers. You'll lose a LOT of money, in fact, but it'll be fast and simple. PM me for fitocracy invite
June 3, 201016 yr I think green d'hide items are okay if you can buy them for low enough. (I did that myself a good while ago but I haven't checked the prices in a good while)
June 3, 201016 yr I always alch steel plates they give you 1200gp i believe. Check out my Pocket Slot idea!
June 3, 201016 yr The problem with a lot of good items with minimal loss in F2P is that there's a limit on how many armour and weapons you can buy every 4 hours. Procuring a large number of them will be a pain. Something to fill my sig with until I find a replacement. Also check out my blug
June 3, 201016 yr Author Well other than alching is there anything else that is decent xp without a huge loss? I have money but I want to chin to 99 range when I get members again soon.

Superheating often loses less than 20 gp per cast and depending on the market can even profit, can be more XP per hour, and gives you smithing xp. June 4, 201016 yr I would say superheat, iron if you want pure xp, or steel/mithril if you want to try to break even. Also, a coal bag from dungeoneering helps if you choose mithril or steel, and it's easy to get, even on f2p.
