June 14, 201016 yr I've been trying to beat Nomad with 3 super restore and 3 sara brew. I also took zamorakian spear and ruby e and diamond e's, using diamonds when frozen. I've always gotten him to berserker mode but always end up dying. I've seen so many posts that taking kyatt w/ Ambush scrolls it should be easy. I'd like know is my way good or bad? I've taken unicorn when tortoise is empty. My food is rocktails. Should I keep it this way or try to use brew/restore and kyatt?
June 14, 201016 yr If you can always get him to berserker mode, your strategy isn't half bad. I would really not recommend the unicorn, as the healing it does is fairly small in the short term. I'd take a kyatt or another strong combat familiar instead. Also, personally I'd rather use saradomin brews as my main food instead of rocktails, but since you always get to berserker mode, I think you should stick with what works for you. June 14, 201016 yr I just killed nomad 5 min ago on my 9. try I had full tort with brews and full invent with brews and restore and failed 8 times but last time I used kyatt and yeah that made it ALOT easier. Bring a Kyatt and around 90 scrolls to be sure. I got reall lucky and killed him on my last scroll(80). Good luck I knoew it's hard I really say this is the hardest task you ever get on RS
June 14, 201016 yr Sorry, but I cannot understand why you'd bring a z spear, diamond and ruby bolts. If you're melleeing and only using range when frozen, you shouldn't have ruby. If you're ranging you shouldn't have z spear. Forget your unicorn, he's not your standard boss. Kyatt is the way to go. give F2P a penny and they want a dime; give P2P a quarter, they want 100,000 dollars, your car, house, boat, social security number, credit card numbers, drivers license, clothes on your back and everything you ever owned or interacted with ever
June 14, 201016 yr also, this may sound stupid, but are you dodging the 750 hp attack? it makes a big difference. also, i didn't even bother ranging when i did it, i was usually too busy brewing. June 14, 201016 yr Well i struggled when i tried to melee him with a zam spear. 3rd run switched to range dodging his attacks and using void, killed him easily, really dont see how people can struggle and have to do him 9/10+ times.... Solo GWD'er Drops: Bandos Hilt x 1/ boots x 1 / Steam staff x 1 / Shards x 9 99 Str/ 99 Att/ 99 HP (More to come...)
