I would use prosy top + verac skirt over bandos top + bottom, since it's worthwhile to turmoil/piety

ardy cape 3 and/or soul wars cape are must haves if you piety/turmoil your tasks too

the only tasks I use karils on are waterfiends and mithril dragons

You can still piety while wearing bandos..? Do that.

You will only use karils for mith dragons and waterfiends.

Use proselyte for aberrants (cannoning in well), bloodvelds (cannoning in meyerditch laboratory), spirit mages, dagannoth (if you do in CT). Everything else should be bandos.

Well, knowing Mck, He'd probably have better things to spend what little money he has, than on bandos.

Don't get me wrong, nothing wrong with pietying in Bandos, perfectly efficient at some incomes.

but the relative benefit for the investment is low, and unless you have 500m+, there are probably more productive things to invest money in.

If i do a quick calculation, the relative benefit of bandos over prosy whilst pietying/turmoiling is about 10-50k gp/hour at incomes of 1-3 mil gp/hour

You'd have to slay for ALOOT of hours to get even a 1mil return on your investment.

whereas that 40m could be invested in GE for something more substantial.

You really need ss/turm for real speed slaying, and would use proselyte for most tasks praying berserker and turmoil(up to dark beasts). For dragons, praying melee and super antifires is easier, but can be done with bandos and ss. Karils is needed for aquanites and waterfiends. Slower tasks worth blocking are black dragons, wyverns, suqahs and kalphites because of slow spawn. Ofcource the block list depends largely on your prefrance of tasks and how much you like to cannon.

Would just like to note that I really wouldn't recommend buying the ability to be assigned Aquanites, as they're probably one of the lowest grossing slayer xp per hour in the game not to mention having mediocre drops coupled with bad charm drops. Of course this is going under the assumption that OP is using Kuradal, which most likely is the case.

Maybe with a whip, but the OP has a rapier = good task with good drops(very much like gargoyles).

Except gargoyles are melee based and their attacks aren't very accurate, plus their "weakness" to crush has little impact on their exp/hr rate for different weapons. Aquanites are still a pain to do because they are mage-based and can turn off prayer and imo quite annoying, I would kill a few of them in the slayer cave before you convince Kuradal to assign them.
