Barrows - What to take?

Well I recently realized I'm in need of some cash, so I figured, why not Barrows.

 

All I'd like to know to is, what setup and inventory I should use.

 

My current setup:

 

The reason I'm using a staff of light is because of it's 15% magic boost, it saves some runes and has a good special to use while fighting the melee brothers without prayer.

The empty spaces in the invo will be food.

 

Questions I have:

 

Should I switch fury for an arcane steam necklace? I won't be using prayer that much, but a fury's defense bonus is a big plus.

 

What spell should I use?

• Barrage, to take advantage of the freeze? But it's costly
  
• Fire surge, less cost than barrage?
  
• Fire wave or ice burst for even cheaper spells?

 

What food should I take? I heard strawberries (5) are good?

 

I should also probably ask, is it better for me to tele to house then canfis through my portal and run back? Or run back through the cave after a chest?

Method:

Dharok - No prayer, ice barrage, step to the side, use salamander 6 times, run behind coffin if not dead.

Verac - No prayer, ice barrage, step to the side, use salamander 6 times, run behind coffin if not dead.

Torag - No prayer, ice barrage, step to the side, use salamander 6 times, run behind coffin if not dead.

Guthan - No prayer, ice barrage, step to the side, use salamander 6 times, run behind coffin if not dead.

Karil - Pray ranged, flash soulsplit if necessary, use whip/defender, do not use specials.

Ahrim - Pray magic, flash soulsplit if necessary, use dragon claw specials, finish with whip/defender if not dead.

I don't know if he was asking a new setup completely.

Anyways, if you are to use this setup, blitz/barrage brother and move diagonally. Start attacking with the sally. Prayer on karil.

Ancients + Salamander is the best method, unless you have chaotic.

You can't use familiars at barrows.

 

You'll want a special attack weapon, either claws / dds type thing for killing karil faster, or enhanced excalibur / saradomin godsword for healing.

You could potentially use sol to tank dharok.. but it's useless if you're ice barraging + diagonal away salamander.

 

Ahrim has pretty low range defense, so I'd recommend rune darts or karils xbow.

High positive mage bonus doesn't really matter, so veracs brassy for ~0 is nice, or bandos chestplate (-15 mage compared to -6 of v brassy, great def).

Otherwise, just add some food and p pots.

I take a sip of ppot right before ahrim,dds spec him then visit Karil.The other brothers are barrage+sallied with no pray.
