Tanking Bandos

My clan is going to a bandos event tommorow and i was watching a video to refresh my memory on how to do it. One of the comments said that Bandos Tanking would not work as he randomly attacks players now. Is this true?

If you use a uni/yak/bunyip it works. If you use a tort it doesn't.

If the familiar you take has an attack option and attacks Graar he'll swap to attacking you.

Will a fruit bat work? And is a bunyip any good? this is my first time doing a team in ages and ive only duoed before and i used a tort then

Fruit bat works better than bunyip but requires a little more micromanagement.Just take enough scrolls.

If you are the tank, take the tort. the extra space is invaluable, and you can make him attack the boss, getting him back on you if he's gone to a teammate.

Well, if not, you can just send it to attack a general.

If you're tanking it doesn't matter if your familiar attacks Graar because he's supposed to be attacking you, but your teammates should consider something other than a tort if they don't want to take extra damage.

Oh my mistake then, I thought he wasn't tanking and was asking which familiars an attacker could use.

Er, you could always order your familiar to attack a general.

Well its actually pretty easy to take tort or titan all you do is just order them to attack a minion instead I do it all the time.

The only thing you need to make sure is that you're standing close the minion it's attacking, if you stand too far away, your familiar will tele back to you, and could attack Graar instead. But as long as you pay attention, it's a perfectly viable option.

I was attacking. anyway my clan tried to crash like 8 130+ with d claws and cls and they got owned, so me and some other dude went to duo first kill bcp 11.8mil split although when i checked the ge bcp was 26mil med so i feel robbed.
