konzserwas
if you have the patience for it, superheat steel. Completely free and you get smithing xp too.

Owned_Nex
Barraging Lobs would take a lot of money. Do it if you want to get charms for your summoning. I currently superheat steel bars. The loss is very low, depending on the GE you can expect to spend 3m-6m for the needed EXP. This actually nets higher Exp/h alching if you can pay 100% attention. Essentially the whole animation can be clipped, so if you press f4 manually, you will be able to get 2 superheats off in the time it takes to do one. You could, also, just wait for it to show the magic page by itself, at which poitn the exp is still very high. Dungeoneering isn't a skill. I'm faster than bots at Sorceress Garden. PM me if you want to chat. My PM is always off. My keyboard is on fire. Want some?

However, if you were to break down the xp you get in summoning, hp, and magic, then compare it to the best alternate methods, you find that barraging rock lobsters is actually very cheap. It's best not to look at training methods for their face value, since that blinds you to the actual efficiency. ~It's Super Effective! dirk4slayer
Burst or barrage rock lobsters, might get you 88 Summoning while you're at it  Chuck Norris doesn't ever need a compass; he randomly points somewhere and north goes there in order not to anger him. Ddude42
I'm personally doing Plank Make until 95 magic. I did the math so it would only be around 3 gp/xp making oak planks. Mahongany planks would've been slightly cheaper, but the time it took to buy the logs and sell the planks was too great for me (yeah, I'm pretty impatient). I've personally timed myself an average around 120k xp/h, or about 1300 logs. Pretty good for somebody on dial-up. Plank Make does involve a lot of clicking however, so if you can afford to spend more money I'd go with String Jewellery, one of the easiest methods of training magic.
