Rs shouldn't have any noticeable effect on the way your pc runs, no.

 

In terms of data it saves to your computer, I don't believe it's a large amount.

No. Providing you're not letting it overheat or anything, it won't damage your PC anymore than if it was just on and idle (not at all basically).
