nubbycubby
RoW turns "nothing" drops on the "rare drop table" into uncut gems or half keys, but has no effect on the drop table that contains stuff like dragon claws, hilts, etc. I thought everyone knew this? ☭
timmmmm83
Nothing particular, the drop table completely changes. Items I consider valuable enough to sell or alch (half keys, rune stuff) nearly triple, and dragon items pretty much double. Remember when we used to kill dust devils for dragon chains? The chain was around 26k without and 16k with. Have I convinced to look at your nearest drop table yet?Except row has no effect on dragon chains, neither on rune stuff. You are correct on the half key part though.

Triquos
I always thought it was an annoying ring. After all, I killed 9.5k dust devils (yes, sadly and unfortunately, I counted) with the wealth to get narda/zip/zero/zilch dragon chains. 103 kills later on a dust devil task I got my one and only dragon chain drop. This was a few years ago but just goes to show how stupid the ring is, and I'm glad a J mod has confirmed its uselessness. What rs needs is a slayer ring of some sort which improves the chance of 'unique' AND 'bonus' drops like effigies/whips/dark bows etc. if only by a SMALL fraction. Any bonus is nice but the fact wealth doesn't help at all with the high end drops makes it completely useless in my opinion. And with that, I've recently been mobilising army'ing and am going for rank 300 for the zerker ring (i) =D
Buzioido
I'd lie to know which drop table the ancient effigies are a part of because some people get several every day it seems, while I persoanlly have only had 3 effigies since they came out. You are correct on the half key part though. Rune spears and javelins. That's only 2 useless rune items, it still renders your whole arguement about chains invalid. Also, I honestly doubt that the chances of, let's say, getting a half key or rune javelins will triple when wearing a RoW. And @Moe, maybe you should post this on the RSOF if you haven't already, because those theories you stated most likely sprouted there, and I'd think it's also where you heard them. I've seen lots of posts on here explaining how the RoW works, and they all follow what Mod Ash has stated. I do see how the article could be misinterpreted though, but I think the explanation is more extensive than what Mod Ash said. I think it's still good for stuff like corpses? Confirm?Doubt it. If you mean the corpses in the ancient cavern I'd say no, because the RoW only affects a certain 'rare drop table' which is shared by monsters and I don't think the reward from the corpses is determined with this table, but that's mostly because I've never heard of someone getting a half shield or rune spear from a corpse. There are three sides to every story: There's one side, there's the other, and there's the truth.
