I don't think SS is that easy to flash. I mean, I'm generally pretty successful with it - I do use it against supreme when prime's down, and I'll occasionally use it at TD's. The main problem is that if you don't have equal attack speed to your opponent you run into irregular timing. I'd be really surprised if anyone could consistently SS flick like that and for the protection prayer always to work.

You can stagger attacks. For example, you can let Supreme hit first, wait 0.25 a second, and start attacking. That way you can easily switch between SS and Deflects

It's easy to time it to get around prime's attacks though, you just can't SS on every hit.

 

Sorry to go off topic, but:

Is that really worth it? How long are your trips and how many kills do you get? I'd really only consider that if you get significantly more than me, which is 2 yaks for 100 kills (no cannon)

 

Prime's mage attack is also very inaccurate against mage def armour/99 def/99 mage

Actually at Tormented Demons, I have a fairly easy time SS/Deflect switching, when the demon uses melee, while using CLS, which is not evenly timed. If the demon attacks the same time I attack, I just skip switching to SS for that turn. The range and mage attacks are a bit harder to switch, as I haven't yet figured out when the deflect works, as opposed to melee, where it's fairly easy to tell, because the animation is the same as the attack, as opposed to the demon "winding up" for the attack.

Yeah I got 76 pray for the range one, it will make crashing you a lot eassier lol
